You really don't listen very good. I don't think guns should be banned.

Then why are you crying? You say you don't want to BAN guns, but you sure as hell want to do the next worst thing which is make it difficult to get guns - difficult for law abiding citizens.

An occasional psychopath up and murders a handful of people and the entire Left goes apeshit. Meanwhile, back in every hood in America, gangbangers and other violent criminals are gunning people down almost every day, and not a peep from you diaper dopers.

Do you now understand the resistance given when people like you bring your opinions to the public?

It isn't difficult for a Canadian to get a gun, after they take a course, write a test and undergo a security check. Any law abiding citizen can do it.

Have an nice day shooting up your schools, bowling alleys and restaurants etc.

How long is the course? How many questions are on the test? What's the pass/fail ratio of the test? How long do Canada's security checks take?

And YOU have a nice day ignoring the gangbangers and violent criminals in America's hoods. ;)

I don't know anyone who has failed it.

Do you live in a "hood"? We have gang bangers too, mostly using guns smuggled in from the US.

Mexico estimates 2000 firearms a day are smuggled in from the US. Even if it is only half that it is a ton of guns. You are plague on your neighbours.

There's no plague over here, sad sac. I don't remember if I've EVER heard a gun shot in my neighborhood, and I grew up here. What I do know is that there are multiple owners of firearms here and we all feel safe. ;)

The REAL problem is out there, in Gangland, and not a peep from you degenerates about the murders in THOSE places. All you hypocrites have tears for is the occasional mass shooting in suburbia. lol

Remember - the virginia tech shooter killed 32 with just two pistols, and basically ran out of people at that point.

Basically, or the example I used where 9 black people were gunned down inside a church with a Glock.

It just doesn't fit a narrative, unfortunately.

Even for the church shooting, they were focused on being thankful there were no AR-15's used. Thank goodness only 9 of you got killed.

Don't know what we would have done had it been 25.

Its hypocritical, as showcases it has nothing to do with safety.

So why do you need a gun? I've never heard a shot fired where I live either.

Why do I need life insurance. I have never died. Same logic.

You really think the victims or their families care whether it was a hand gun or semi auto rifle used to kill? Carry on crazy.

Life insurance won't keep you alive. You don't need it, you will be dead.

Because of what COULD be - do you think the writers of the 2nd Amendment were gun worshipping psychopaths? Do you even understand the 2nd Amendment?

The news did. Point I made, talking about the glorification. Or in this case, meeting a narrative.

So what. Are you going to do anything to stop all these mass killings or not? My guess is not.

If this were my job, I would look at all data available, in order to get a good idea of what the issue actually was  while removing politics from the conversation. This is where you can start genuinely putting the wheels in motion at finding a solution.

If the news are going to demonize one weapon, when its clearly handguns that cause the vast majority of mass shootings, then this no longer is responsible journalism. Its the deliberate use of sensationalism, to sell you news.

If you have to sell me a story (vs let the facts speak for themselves), its probably full of s***.

And owning a gun won't kill you - and if you need to use it, you will be alive.

There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data

But is added protection in the event that I die.

Same as a will. Am considered young for one, but I see it as added protection for my wife. She has plenty of assets, too that she wants to ensure are not fought over.

Same concept as a gun. In the highly unlikely event that I get my house robbed, that I could have added protection, vs being a sitting duck while awaiting the police.

Same reason they have airbags in cars, or curtain airbags. In the incredibly likely event you roll your car over, well you have added protection. Insurance.

Why emergency doors in public buildings open outwards. In the event there is a crowd, it will not create a stampede effect. Sprinking systems. Condoms.

Sure your date likely doesn't have AIDS, but insurance in case she does.

I didn't even touch up as to oxygen masks on aircraft or inflatable boats.

What is the difference between them demonizing a weapon and you using that as an excuse to do nothing?

The facts are, the US is the  only developed country that has an epidemic of mass shootings, it is the only country that allows gun ownership with almost no restrictions and it is the country that has by far the most guns per capita than every other country.

Wills and life insurance are not causes of deaths, neither are any of the other examples you list.

The 2nd Amendment was written when the standard firearm was a smooth bore, muzzle loading flint lock with which a well trained soldier could only manage three rounds a minute. Even then I doubt there were 20% more guns than people.

You might have to shout that if you want the constitutional "originalists" justices to hear. They always duck under the bench when those facts are mentioned.

Well they certainly weren't the ideal mass murder weapon, you could do better with an axe.

Point out in the 2nd Amendment where it talks about which type of guns we are allowed to possess, and how many we are allowed to possess.

I love it when nanny statists shout. It just accentuates their stupidity ;)

Sad you have turned the American dream into sending your kids to a school built like a fortress full of  armed guards and the kids have to do active shooter drills as well as fire drills.

I guess that's an education of a kind

Carry on crazy. Enjoy the body count.

That only happens in cities and towns where morals have gone, or are going down, the shitter.

See, in normal communities like where I live, we don't have any of that shit, so we just continue to live our lives without so much as a left-wing hitch.

Of course, that doesn't mean that one day woke psychopaths won't start infesting our neighborhoods with their presence, but we'll be prepared to defend our livelihoods if things start getting out of control.

And don't forget that government is always ready to expand and take control, so having the 2nd Amendment will always help mitigate that shit. ;)

How is posting a link shouting?  Damn statistics, they always get in the way of a good fiction. Very inconvenient.

Yup.

All real shitholes. Man you live in an awful place, it must suck living in fear all the time.
