People familiar with the history of slavery know that it was a brutal business with NO PROTECTIONS for the slaves.

And many Southerners are still very hostile towards blacks to this day.

There were no laws against having sex with a slave, consensual or not. It was not considered rape.  Some DEMOCRATS considered it a way of increasing the size of the herd.

SLAVES back then not only did NOT have the right to refuse ANYTHING, there were fugitive slave laws  put in place to round them up if they tried to leave their DEMOCRAT SLAVE OWNERS.

The Dred Scott Decision (on which Roe V. Wade was based) basically was the Supreme Court saying a black slave is the LEGAL PROPERTY of a white or black slave owner. Rape laws for female black slaves did not exist.

Today you could be arrested for rape just by using the wrong  pronouns to some FemiNazi  b!tch.
