No scientific article would have "while boosting the likelihood they will get sucked into a meaningless argument about vaccines" in it. That was obviously a joke.

However, starting off with the premise that Moderna would create a vaccine that"will decrease people’s chances of contracting the virus" is not funny any more than people dying of AIDS is funny. In order for that to be funny it would have to qualify as dark humour, and that wasn't dark it was just stupid.

Also, it's no joke to talk about vax safety and efficacy lies as"a meaningless argument about vaccines". People were grievously injured and killed by that jab. Your refusal to acknowledge that people who didn't even need a vax were forced to take it, and then injured by it, isn't funny. It's pathetic.

This is like if you pulled the fire alarm at a hospital and people died when they were rushing to get out, and then you tried to tell a joke about it later.
