Canada is totally and utterly unprepared, the entire army couldn't secure Toronto, the GTA would swallow such a tiny force,  they wouldn't do anything more than guard government buildings.

If you have to self isolate someone else can bring in the food. If you in fact know no one to do this you can call the city where you live, in particular your city councilor, provincial member of Parliament or federal member of Parliament and they can liaise with a social agency to deliver food. You could even call the police on the NON emergency line for this.

North Korea could be one of the safest countries in the world right now. They're not dependent on imports, and have one of the most secure borders on the planet.

Canada is as safe as anyplace, there's no way to crack down on a virus, low population density is your best bet, Korea is packed with people, that's not optimal when dealing with pandemic

PC has it right in terms of not trusting the army, because in reality, when the shit hits the fan, they will see you as a threat not a friend.

Thankfully, there's too few of them to cover the bases, so you won't see much of them anyways.
