Canada is in NORTHCOM.   Headquartered at Peterson AFB Colorado.  America is not going to permit an attack against North America by conventional military forces.

There's Apprehended Insurrection by domestic elements, there's Islamic Jihadists, and there's the covert subjugation of the Canadian government by Beijing.

You don't need a full spectrum military, the issue in Canada is the failure of governance and increasingly lawless ungoverned space in the wake of it.

C’mon, everyone should be critical.  With Trump it’s “The Church of What’s Happenin’ Right Now.”  At any given moment the situation can change on his whim.  It’s weird shit.  Trudeau is a problem for entirely different reasons.  It’s a clown show across the board and something tells me it’s not going away.  Meanwhile China is emptying out the warehouse and Russia is planning its next invasion.   I guess as long as people feel that life is improving, it’s shiny happy people and their distractions.  That’s fine with me as long as hard work pays off and people aren’t mistreated, which isn’t always the case.

Which is exactly why Canada and other NATO allies should not be so dependent on the United States as the military and economic backstop.    Trudeau has no idea what he is screwing with, and Trump doesn't care.

Canada has the worst of both worlds, the Canadian Forces are totally ineffective, yet they're flushing over $20 billion a year down the drain on this DND boondoggle.

Meanwhile the public healthcare is eating their provincial budgets, they need to just stop pretending that Canada has a military and recover some of these billions wasted.

If you went through the Ontario education system, you would know it isn’t really like that.  The US is pervasive, but so is Quebec and Canadian Tyre.  Toronto might as well be a different country from northern Ontario culturally, somewhere with a French speaking population like Kapuscasing.  I’m still pissed off that Coach’s Corner is gone from HNIC.  I can’t let that go.
