Not every woman practicing Islam covers her face. Would you agree with that statement?  And do you know what percentage do? Are they doing so because of demands from Taliban or Isis or just a culturally dominated male community?  

My point is that women arriving in Canada are exposed to a culture that has equal rights for women regardless of their religion. 

If it were truly a religious requirement of Islam then there are sure a lot of strong Islamic women defying the garments.

You can quote all you want. It's not representative of strong courageous women fighting for their rights across all religions.

And yet the percentage of Muslim Canadian women who wear the hijab - again, so as to not arouse men, is now over 53% - up from 42% ten years earlier. The number who wear the niquab rose from 2% to 3% - a 50% rise.
