We're still fighting our way out of the dark ages, yanno. Pointing out lies is not whitewashing. A bad Catholic to a progressive is one who frowns and expresses some hesitation about whether gays should be married. A bad Muslim is one who demands all gays be immediately put to death as called for in the Koran. To a progressive, there's little difference between these two.
