Smallc Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 I think these pollsters are going to be surprised tomorrow. I might be wrong, but I think that you'll be surprised tomorrow. I can feel something in the air. I was right about the last BC and Ontario elections. Change wasn't in the air then. 5000 people came out to see Trudeau in Winnipeg last night, and people were lined up for 2kms to see him tonight in North Vancouver. Quote
Vancouver King Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 Mainstreet predicting a Liberal Majority? I think these pollsters are going to be surprised tomorrow. The seat count is going to be much closer than the popular support makes it seem. Is that what your Fredericton secret internal polls suggested - solid Conservative showings in Trudeau country? Quote When the people have no tyrant, their public opinion becomes one. ...... Lord Lytton
On Guard for Thee Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 I think a lot of people may be being swayed by the possibility of having to rely on the GG to go and try to cobble together a government after a less than decisive vote rather than dissolving parliament and calling another election. That could possibly springboard Trudeau into a majority position. Quote
ReeferMadness Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 So, we're all agreed. Anything could happen tomorrow. Quote Unlimited economic growth has the marvelous quality of stilling discontent while preserving privilege, a fact that has not gone unnoticed among liberal economists. - Noam Chomsky It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it. - Upton Sinclair

cybercoma Posted October 19, 2015 Author Report Posted October 19, 2015 Is that what your Fredericton secret internal polls suggested - solid Conservative showings in Trudeau country?Nope. The Conservative incumbent is not winning Fredericton that much is certain. Quote
ReeferMadness Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 Nope. The Conservative incumbent is not winning Fredericton that much is certain. And you think that someone other than the Liberal can win? cybercoma Posted October 19, 2015 Author Report Posted October 19, 2015 And you think that someone other than the Liberal can win? It's unlikely, but we'll see. Let's just say the other 3 parties are probably not in the positions people are expecting for this riding. Quote

BC_chick Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 (edited) My prediction: Liberals - 137 Conservative - 117 NDP - 78 BQ - 4 Green 2 (this one is dubious but my wishful thinking) Edited October 19, 2015 by BC_chick Quote It's kind of the worst thing that any humans could be doing at this time in human history. The_Squid Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 I hope the Greens win 2 or 3 on the Island.... Quote
G Huxley Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 (edited) I hope the greens take every riding on the island. If only hopes were realities. By the way I took the same test that's in your avatar picture and got about the same result. Edited October 19, 2015 by G Huxley Quote
Vancouver King Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 OK, I am taking another revamp based on my correct observation of a Liberal majority. Liberals - 178 CPC - 100 NDP - 57 Bloc - 2 Grn - 1 I wonder if Harper's concession speech is written yet. Quote When the people have no tyrant, their public opinion becomes one. ...... Lord Lytton
G Huxley Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 The current polls have the Bloc neck and neck with the LPC and NDP in Quebec, so you might have to take that into consideration with your seat projection. Quote
ReeferMadness Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 I hope the Greens win 2 or 3 on the Island.... 2 is the best they can reasonably hope for. Maybe Fredricton as well but you'll have to beat CC for more info. G Huxley Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 The Greens could pick up a seat in Thunder Bay too. Quote
