eyeball Posted August 26, 2015 Report Posted August 26, 2015 Anything and everything from the CBC leans left, at best. No, it's just the realities of the world they report on that lean that way.You can't change that reality so you're just taking your frustrations out on the messenger. That's all this gnashing of teeth is about, nothing more and nothing less. Quote A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.
PIK Posted August 26, 2015 Report Posted August 26, 2015 I wonder how many CBC employees are members. Quote Toronto, like a roach motel in the middle of a pretty living room.
Black Dog Posted August 26, 2015 Report Posted August 26, 2015 I wonder how many CBC employees are members. So you legitimately don't see the difference between CBC employees as individuals and CBC as an organization? Quote
PIK Posted September 23, 2015 Report Posted September 23, 2015 I wonder if people remember the darkest days for the CBC was when chretien martin slashed its budget, right after they announced their red book ( remember the red book) that said it was going to restore the money to the CBC budget. Again harper is the only honest one of the bunch. Quote Toronto, like a roach motel in the middle of a pretty living room.
PIK Posted September 23, 2015 Report Posted September 23, 2015 CBC Exposed Great site on how bad the CBC has become. It should be privatized ,if it wants to back political parties against others . Or just get back to the CBC that we all grew up with. With great canadian programming about the country and its people. http://cbcexposed.blogspot.ca/ Quote Toronto, like a roach motel in the middle of a pretty living room.
Topaz Posted September 23, 2015 Report Posted September 23, 2015 I think most |Canadians want the CBC around, I don't see anything wrong with it, its Canadian its OURS, its been around for a long time. The government gives money to ALL networks, even Sun Tv had money from the feds, but the viewers didn't like it, so its gone. Quote
ToadBrother Posted September 23, 2015 Report Posted September 23, 2015 When you see the world as a vast conspiracy, the distinction between the CBC and people out there who like the CBC enough to volunteer their time and money to fight for it is academic. The Tories have become addicted to the idea of a vast anti-Conservative conspiracy. Just imagine what they'll be saying if they lose the election. Quote
ReeferMadness Posted September 23, 2015 Report Posted September 23, 2015 (edited) I can't imagine why the OP neglected to mention that in his little rant there... Edited September 23, 2015 by ReeferMadness Quote Unlimited economic growth has the marvelous quality of stilling discontent while preserving privilege, a fact that has not gone unnoticed among liberal economists. - Noam Chomsky It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it. - Upton Sinclair

Ya eleistists and lefties. that does a disservice to the rest of the country. And sun tv is gone because the CRT or whatever it is called ,would not allow sun tv to have a level playing field like the rest,it was only allowed into 4 out of 10 houses. Just imagine what they'll be saying if they lose the election. Read the post toad and you will see how biased it is. And now we have mulcair and trudeau wanting to give another 150m plus and Ms May wants to give it 350 mil. You can easily see who the CBC helps out. Just imagine what they'll be saying if they lose the election. Show me a conservative University professor in Toronto. How about a conservative news anchor on cbc? Has the Toronto Star ever backed a conservative? Has the CBC? Any conservative teachers in Toronto high school? Quote
overthere Posted September 24, 2015 Report Posted September 24, 2015 Some neighbourhoods in Edmonton has a splattering of lawn signs that say "I Vote CBC". They are at the same houses where the short bus stops twice a day for the owners. Quote Science too hard for you? Try religion!

This once proud organization needs a major house cleaning and make it canada station again. The biased and weirdness needs to be clean up.
