NDP Make Big Move in Latest EKOS Poll

Recommended Posts

All I know is I'm preparing for hard times . Stocking up in canned goods. Making sure I have a lot of arrows and ammunition. Making sure my shelter is well stocked. Just in case. I'm really worried about the future of Canada. Look at what happened to Rhodesia and South Africa. I lived through it and see the same attitudes that led to the collapse if those countries in full swing in Canada.

If I'm understanding you, your concern is that apartheid is about to end in Canada?

My concern is that I've seen first hand what socialist regimes do when they gain power. Both went from right wing governments to socialist ones over night. It was a mess. And today we have a group if people stealing lands and killing the rightful land owners. I can see the same thing may happen here too.

Whose stealing lands and killing the rightful land owners in Canada?

Also wakeup call!!! We've been largely a socialist country for a looonnng time. In fact if you ever travel outside the country ask people from europe, russia, china, japan, ask them what they think Canada is. Many will tell you that we are a socialist democracy with a queen.

We have reports that indicate that over the last 10 years, one largely governed by Harper, there is a larger increase in the public sector than in the private sector. We have universal healthcare, disability, pensions, EI, welfare. Obviously we have free market capitalism but our public sector is largely involved in it in pretty much every single Province. Sorry to break it too you. I mean were not Sweden, Denmark, Norway or Finland. But we're really not that far away.

I thought you and all your money were heading for Singapore or something while the getting was good. Plan B sounds a tad more desperate.

I never said that. Must be getting me mixed up with some one else.

Nah I'll take a stand and defend my property for as long as possible before either I'm killed or I bug out at night.

I have weapons, munitions, food, homemade traps and explosive materials all stored up ready to go and be assembled. I'm a law abiding citizen but I'm not going to allow the government or its agents to take my lands. Like what happened in Rhodesia. Or Ruby Ridge. Never again.

Did you stock up on lots of tinfoil too? Don't get the cheap stuff at the dollar store, get the more expensive stuff at wal-mart. Stops the signals better.

I think it would be interesting to get an NDP government in power. I can't wait. Everyparty deserves a chance. If it were up to me each party would govern for 4 years with a majority on a rotation, it would be fun to see what gets changed. Politics is fun!

We need stability not a bunch of kids playing politics. The future of a nation isn't a game. It's serious.

The natives rising up with the help of the government.

Well, you and others on here have advocated for removing benefits for FN people. Given the problems that they face now, it's not surprising that they wouldn't accept that. Moreover, the status quo even as it is doesn't seem to be changing things for them, so of course they - and Canadians who empathize with them - will use democratic means to try to change things.

Maybe the 'doing nothing' option isn't just politically untenable but also unrealistic. As such, you might want to thing about a plan B.

So you'd be okay with the National Socialists taking power for a while to see what happened?
