There is nothing on any media page yet so I will post an OP once it appears. There has been a shooting on Parliament Hill. A soldier has been wounded in the attack, Canadian media report. The incident comes amid the nation's raising of its terror threat level from low to medium, after a Muslim convert was killed by Quebec police after hitting two soldiers with his car. "Shots fired at War Memorial at 9:52am today; one person injured," Ottawa Police tweeted on Wednesday. A government official earlier said the raised threat level was in response to an increase in online "general chatter" from radical groups including Islamic State and al-Qaeda. Ministry spokesman Jean-Christophe de Le Rue said on Tuesday that the increased level "means that intelligence has indicated that an individual or group within Canada or abroad has the intent and capability to commit an act of terrorism". If he is Islamized this will mean there's a co-ordinated effort to attack members of the military. Exactly what ISIS called for. People will definitely be on edge and profiling will be inevitable. If this is some crazy guy like the Fredricton shooter, then no worries. But seriously if this becomes a trend and the people can be linked to Islamism people will panic. Every landmark will see much higher levels of security. Quote

Perhaps but two incidents like this in 3 days don't sound like a coincidence. Also 2 shootings at the same time in the same city sound like the type of stuff Islamic terrorists like to do. It's not a matter of coincidence as. let's say this latest incident is also tied to radical islamists. That doesn't mean they were working with each other; could be a copycat deal.
