cybercoma Posted September 12, 2014 Report Posted September 12, 2014 And still we wait. Shady, I'm really interested to see this. I hope you're going to post it soon. Quote
Argus Posted September 12, 2014 Report Posted September 12, 2014 Rapid Trident 2014. Do you live in the NATO member country? Do you feel yourself an idiot? Then tell Mr.Obama that you are not. My Dad happened to be present at the planning conference on the Ukrainian-American tactical exercise Rapid Trident. He is Canadian officer. And he was in Lviv for another business. But Ukrainians are so negligent and tumultuous that he got lost in their military base. The only thing my Dad tells is that Americans have weaved a complex shady scheme of delivering Ukrainians NATO equipment on the quiet during this exercise. So if we're to believe you your dad ought to be arrested, court-martialed, and imprisoned for blabbing confidential information to civilians, have I got that right? Shady Posted September 13, 2014 Report Posted September 13, 2014 You people continue to live in a world of make-believe. Sheltered from reality. “I don’t celebrate this. I don’t say it as a way of demonizing the president or casting an aspersion on him––but the data is going to indicate… that black people lost ground in every single leading economic category during the Obama years.” http://www.mediaite.com/online/tavis-smiley-black-people-lost-ground-during-obamas-presidency/ Quote
Black Dog Posted September 13, 2014 Report Posted September 13, 2014 You people continue to live in a world of make-believe. Sheltered from reality. We're definitely sheltered form the historical data you said would prove you right. How's that coming along? Quote
Shady Posted September 13, 2014 Report Posted September 13, 2014 We're definitely sheltered form the historical data you said would prove you right. How's that coming along? I see you're still living in fantasy land. I've already provided references. Why do you think blacks have lost ground in every economic indicator if your assertions of the best economic president are true? Why is it that the public gives Obama terrible approval ratings on handling the economy if what you say is true? Answer. It's not true. That's your biggest problem. Quote

dre Posted September 16, 2014 Report Posted September 16, 2014 Shady? How is helping allies against a cruel, murderous attack by an evil regime shady? I dont know, the poster we were replying to didnt ellaborate. Its perfectly possible however for the people you believe are the "good guys" to do shady things while they fight the "bad guys". Black Dog Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 I see you're still living in fantasy land. I've already provided references. You have not. Why do you think blacks have lost ground in every economic indicator if your assertions of the best economic president are true? I made no such assertion. Couldn't be further from the issue we're discussing, which is whether or not the mood of the country is an accurate barometer of the health of the economy. Why is it that the public gives Obama terrible approval ratings on handling the economy if what you say is true? Answer. It's not true. That's your biggest problem. You're spiraling off in another direction here. Allow me to bring you back on track: When the economy is actually good, the right track/wrong track has always reflected that. The fact that it doesn't illustrates the facts of your trumped up, propaganda laced Obama economic record. People know things aren't well. Despite being "told" they are. Prove it. Just look at the historical data. I know, I know, us serfs just don't realize when we're livin' large right? Ever heard of the phrase "its the economy stupid"? When the economy's strong, right track numbers are always better. Are you actually disputing that? Do you actually believe that when the economy is good, people think the country's going in the wrong direction? That's a level of denialism I've yet to encounter. I'm open to be convinced. Show me the "historical data" and we'll go from there. So that's where we are. You trumpeting "historical data" that supports your claim, me asking for it, and you insisting that the data supports your claim (but not actually providing said data). Quote
cybercoma Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 It has been over a week. I really wanted to see this historical data. I thought Shady might be able to change my mind. Quote

Shady Posted October 1, 2014 Report Posted October 1, 2014 Oh well. I guess it was not to be. Can't say I'm surprised. It's true. Or are you still grasping at the notion that when the economy is really good, people think that the country is going in the wrong direction? Quote

eyeball Posted October 2, 2014 Report Posted October 2, 2014 (edited) He makes a good point. A minor one tacked on to his main point, that America should be more like China. Which shouldn't be surprising in the least really. It's patently obvious CEO's and such have an admiration for the ease with which the grotesquely influential and powerful can become putrescently wealthy and influential in countries that are ruled as opposed to being governed. The more that countries truck and trade with one another the more alike they become. "The regulatory burden in China is infinitesimal compared to the crap we get in America." You do realize the "crap" includes things like the laws and rights communities of people have when powerful influential tycoons decide they'd like to drop a casino, scrap metal smelter, or strip-mine in your neighbourhood? Please, it's a simple yes or no question. Quote
