I agree ezra went a little to far, but a complaint has been laid and we will see if anything happens. I like sun because you get stuff nobody else will show and I like, ezra's reporting but he does get a little crazy. Ripping JT for what happened ,is OK but ''slut'' is to much. I have not watched or read his stuff since. Believe it or not I was even embarrassed by what he said.

If the above is true, then you are still deluding yourself.

Ripping JT for what happened? What happened is NOT what the idiot Ezra posted, he not only lied but lied badly.

JT was waking by, the Bride asked him toi jump in, he asked the Groom...s'ok?

You like the Sun cuz you get stuff no one else reports?

Go read World Net Daily, Mad Magazine,Cracked and the Nat'l Enquirer if that matters.

That's true, but there's really only one poll that matters.

Is it a) the one from the last Alberta election 2) the one from the last BC election or 3) the one from the Ontario election?

Those three really helped reinforce my faith in pollsters.

Science too hard for you? Try religion!

How about the last Forum poll from the NB election, which was almost to the exact percentage point of the vote?

And JT response is PRICELESS. Ezra may have hurt his own image, but he has showed that JT is thin skinned and immature. More evidence that he is waaay over his head. So if people are thinking this is going to hurt the conservatives and not the liberals better give their head a shake.

Being thin skinned in this case is not an issue.

If someone called Mrs Ezra a slut we would see just how thin skinned he would be.

I make the following points:

  1. Mrs. Ezra Levant is not running for PM; and
  2. In our country, Edmund Muskie blew a lead in the Democratic primary race in 1972 by breaking down in tears in the snow of New Hampshire when someone called his wife a "Canuck."

Some degree of thick skin is required to be a major leader of a great world democracy.

Meh, Ezra comes off as a lowlife again, but who cares? The general public is unaware and uninterested in the story. Seems the only people that have noticed are those previously unfamiliar with Canada's slimy, little Limbaugh and Cons grasping at straws. Meanwhile, the CPC refuses to answer questions, lies about troop requests and secretly signs trade deals most Canadians would be disgusted by. Hmmm, I wonder why the country is tired of this regime?

There is thick skin, then there is going over the line.

I suppose if in the last Primary debate McCain said 'My opponent is a n****r and we dont really want that in the white house" now do we ?'....youd post that Obama has to have thicker skin.

Good, got it.

If anybody happened to tune into question period today, you wouldn't even have to go as far as looking to JT for whom vote, you could conclude we'd be as well off with Idi Amin than what we now have.. Paul Calandra, one of the most irritating assholes of the mostly asshole party, clearly broke house rules when Mulcair asked him his opening question on our involvement in Iraq. Calandra went off on some idiotic and completely irrelevant rant about Israel. Mulcair tried twice more and got the same nonsense and when he complained to the speaker,  Andrew  Shear amazingly stopped Mulcair from asking another question  He should be thrown out of his seat as house leader as he demonstrated clearly he is NOT neutral. The Harper dictatorship stance seems to be completely permeating the party. I don't think this one is going to go away easily, nor should it.

all good now... Harper Conservative MP Calandra offers House a crocodile tear apology! Claims it was his response... and the "PMO kids in short pants" had nothing to do with it! Yes... he said that!!!

Being thin skinned is always an issue, at least in that it's a consideration, a negative one, when deciding who to vote for.

The thing is, Trudeau's mother was, by most measures, a slut.

And that really isn't relevant. It probably only strengthens Trudeau's chances of winnipeg that it's been brought up by a prominent conservative commentator.

But the boycott of all of sun news, so he goes to Kingston and he is not going to talk to reporters or Brockville and how many other small areas that the paper is owned by sun. Huge mistake, makes him look like a pissed off little child., If he can't handle the heat here , he never will handle it anywhere else.

Once reporters start calling dead family members "sluts", then it is time to boycott that company.

It's a good move. Anyone would do the same thing.

I don't remember you being up in arms when Harper boycotted the Ottawa press gallery for no reason... why the double standard?

Newsflash, he didnt boycott all of Sun News.

Harper ducks and dodges the press continiously. He just does it by slithering around in the shadows, nothing ever official. Oh wait, I forgot, that is his MO.

I think Harper's behaviour arises from his early experiences in politics. The Reformers came to Ottawa like a bunch of wide-eyed, naive innocents, and were endlessly baited, mocked and ridiculed by the media, which did everything they could to get them to say things which could be twisted out of context.

He came to loath the press, and now as PM he has as little to do with them as possible, and tightly controls all his people so nobody can say anything which the press might twist out of context. I think his strategy is self-defeating, personally, but I don't think it will change. He gets more bad press and people think worse of him for the tight control on everyone than he would if the occasional MP misspoke or said something dumb.

Just the English, but that is alot of people, and if a French journalist asks a tough question, he will be gone also. Keep making up excuses for your boy, but he is just showing us that he is waaay over his head. But then he has lived the pampered life , so he really does not know how to handle the stress of real life.

Margaret Trudeau is the mother of the leader of one of the major political parties in Canada. Last year, I attended a lecture at which she presented on different aspects of mental illness, a problem with which she is very familiar.

Margaret Trudeau had been diagnosed with being Bi-polar which accounts for many of the controversial actions that she was reported to have done while she was suffering from that condition. Because of the public nature of her relationship with PM Trudeau, her actions were used as political fodder to attack Pierre.

For Ezra to again use her to again bash the Liberals says a lot about Ezra.

To state that Margaret Trudeau was a slut (a dirty slatternly woman, an immoral woman) shows complete ignorance of mental illness and says a lot about a person who would repeat that slur, in the media or on opinion boards.

Note - For those expecting a response from Big Guy: I generally do not read or respond to posts longer then 300 words nor to parsed comments.

Was Levant running for PM against Trudeau? McCain was running against Romney. McCain is a U.S. Senator and has the duty to treat all citizens equally. Levant or for that matter JBG as private citizens arwe under no such obligation. By the way I have met Levant and do not like him.

Even the Alberta polls spotted the trend back towards the PCs after Wild Rose had a ton of support early in the campaign. The polls even spotted the NDP trend in Quebec leading up to the last federal election. They work.

The reason you don't get pinpoint accuracy with seat counts is that our political system is not representative, so the popular vote is not what we get. Polls report popular opinion not seat counts.

Now every Sun article can correctly start by "Trudeau refuses to answer questions on why/what........(fill in the blanks)". Although he never answered questions from them anyway, it'll be harder and harder for him to avoid the issues. Notice that he hasn't said anything of substance on ISIS or Syria or Iraq or terrorism other than platitudes? I'm waiting for him to demonstrate that the critics are wrong (I admit - I'm one of them). Lord knows, there are plenty of opportunities for him to show some leadership........some level of substance or even knowledge of the issues!

He sort of answered questions on the Mansbridge interview, not that his answers were impressive.
