For example, in the Roadmap for Peace plan, signed by PA authority and Israel, started by Bush Jr., Israel was under obligation to not increase any more settlements. Not only has Israel not frozen the settlements, they have made it a point to ridicule the United States for asking them to do so. JERUSALEM — Hours after Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.vowed unyielding American support for Israel’s security here on Tuesday, Israel’s Interior Ministry announced 1,600 new housing units for Jews in East Jerusalem. Mr. Biden condemned the move as “precisely the kind of step that undermines the trust we need right now.” Israel is an arrogant rogue state who uses its power over congress to continue its illegal, immoral and counterproductive actions in the Middle East. Well, if you can get the Muslims to rewrite the Quran so that Jews aren't apes and pigs, perhaps there'll be an end. Until that day... Since you are agnostic/atheist I am wondering why when it comes to those other religion threads, you are very absent from them? I know you are critical in thought, somewhat, but you seem to have a real big beef with Islam. All while not even Funny thing is we do have a war of religion, but we think it's a secular war. HA. Tens of thousands of Allied soldiers died fighting the Ottoman Turks so that these various nationalist groups could seek their goals of nationhood. Jews as well as Arabs. Many thousands more died keeping Rommel and the Mufti from causing an extension to the European Holocaust in the Middle East. The 'Palestinians' started the Arab-Israeli Wars...lost heavily...now want a do-over. Poland didn't start WW2...lost heavily...got land (and no Germans living on that land) for their troubles. There have been no 'freedom flotillas' for Danzig. North Viet-Nam did start the Viet-Nam War...won handily after a long struggle...got to keep South Viet-Nam no matter the boat people, murder and ethnic cleansing going on. Not a word of complaint was heard. Even when Saigon had its ancient name changed. Why are these Arabs following a Nazi's desire for his own state free of Jews and Hashemites somehow different? The Arabs were conducting wars of elimination...just poorly. As for your conclusion: It was the UN that let North Viet-Nam do what it did. Resolution #413, I believe.
