Boges
Stephen Colbert addressed this story last night. Apparently the 3rd page of London's Sun actually has naked ladies. Step your game up Toronto Sun!!!!! He compared asking your IP for porn to Oliver Twist asking for more gruel. LOL!

Argus
Exactly... which is why, if you are interested in receiving adult content, it is a very simple process for you to opt in to that service. Just like TV. And would you agree to a special levee on parents in order to pay for all this? Lets say, any parent with a child under fourteen pays double for their internet service so the ISP can make up for their poor parenting skills in not monitoring their child's usage. Argus
And arguing that if parents can't work a computer then they are bad parents is silly. Not everyone will know how to use filtering software for smart phones, tablets, Ipads, etc. so this makes a lot of sense. If you're too stupid to take care of your kid you shouldn't be allowed to have kids. Either figure it out if you're concerned, or hire someone else to put filter software on. Or drop your kid off at the Childrens Aid Society so they can go to a smarter parent.
Argus
It is not censorship... Probably THE most common phrase used by censors and would-be censors around the world.

Supposedly ISP filtering out porn and letting people to call in to unblock their service costs too much, and then you put up ideas that would cost us gazillions of dollars. 2. You are against censorship and do not want the government making decisions regarding internet porn, but you would put the government in charge of deciding who should be allowed to reproduce. Actually what is ironic is the fact that putting on the ISP level will cost you more than buying the needed software yourself and educating yourself some. 2. You are against censorship and do not want the government making decisions regarding internet porn, but you would put the government in charge of deciding who should be allowed to reproduce. Ironic again. Might not have read the line properly. If you don't want to be a parent then yes give it up to the state. If you want to be a parent, then be a parent and do the filtering yourself. Take responsibility and be a grown up.

jbg
I lightly follow British domestic politics, namely stuff my younger sister that lives over there brings up when we're chatting, but well looking for well my wife was looking for the latest updates on the William & Kate's little one, found this: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/10191855/Crackdown-on-violent-online-porn-planned.html Always a cheap political stunt. Pornographers can't fight back. In the end nothing happens.
