carepov Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 Hard to find a good solution to this though isn't it? All sides have arguments that seem good but perhaps we're a society that is beyond helping ourselves anymore... Frustrating problem to say the least. Yes and no. Simply put, disadvantaged kids need more and better health care, nutrition, education and recreation. What's most frustrating is that this is not happening enough, especially in Canada's aboriginal communities and in US inner cities. Quote
The_Squid Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 You agree government overreach there, but do not think they are overreaching when it comes to banning porn on the Internets. How do one reconcile that? So the gov't is banning porn on the internet? Is that really your contention? Quote

So events like Channon Christian/Chris Newsom's murders were a result of inner city poverty? Had those poor dudes...and one girl...just had more opportunities? That you need to go look up their names should be a clue... But we'll never forget Trayvon. Edited August 2, 2013 by DogOnPorch Quote Nothing cracks a turtle like Leon Uris.

Well I never thought it and I certainly never wrote it, so was it the voices in your head that told you that my position was that all crime is caused by inner city poverty? Quote
