Justin Trudeau Would Take Liberals to a Majority

Recommended Posts

His track record for keeping promises is pretty impressve when compared to almost every other leader Canada has had in recent history.

as Mulcair hasn't been PM he hasn't broken any and the liberals don't even have leader to break promises...so on a head to head comparison harper is the hands down winner of promise breaker/liar of all the party leaders...

Quick question: Do you think all those American politicians who signed Grover Norquist's "Will not raise taxes " pledge should stick to their guns when Obama comes calling for some cooperation, even though they know that, given the circumstances they face today, it would be disastrous for their country if they were to do so.

Like Spiderfish said, circumstances change.

i don't care what the usa does....now you're trying to justify harpers lying as okay because others do it too?...no it's not okay....

Your comment is goofy and irrelevant. I think you're missing the point.

na you missed the point and the ship it sailed on....you made the comparison of harper's honesty to other leaders and now you want to back away, sorry that doesn't work...harper can't be championed as the most trusted leader because he's lied, so the other leaders hold the moral highground for being honest party leaders...

Ahhhemmm... Whly.. From a Nanos poll released on the 22nd::

The survey also found:

  • Bloc Québécois support is relatively stable at just under five per cent nationally. The Quebec-only party now ranks third behind the NDP and Liberals in federal voting intentions, in a province where it once dominated.
  • National support for the Green Party is up slightly to 3.7 per cent from 2.9 per cent last month.
  • The number of undecided voters was up nearly five points from the Nanos poll's October figures, now standing at 22.7 per cent nationally.

The Nanos Research survey's leadership index suggests Prime Minister Stephen Harper still enjoys a comfortable lead when respondents are asked to rate the current federal leaders on trust, competence and vision for Canada.

OOOPS!

OOOPS!

Here is something no one tells you about the leadship index. THE LEADER OF THE COUNTRY no matter who is power outside of election time ALWAYS enjoys a comfortable leader because they are the LEADER OF THE COUNTRY. It is a dumb way to measure anything outside of an election year approval rating would probably be a better measure but it suffers from the same problem.

I feel like I should start a Stats 101 class for all the Conservatives on the board they always have hard times with things like this.
