When has a premier ever been "put in" by 100% of the population?

That is not what I said. Just saying non-separtists vote PQ for whatever reason, but as I had mentioned human nature will be to paint everyone with the same brush. IMO This will be the 1st time you will see a fed govermnet stick it to quebec if marios gets a majority. Harper does not need quebec, and if marios comes out after the feds like she said she will, harper will have the ROC behind him.

There's a difference between being something and being painted to be something. Are you saying separatism is inherently racist? If so, between what two or more races is this conflict taking place?

I am saying is marios policies will make everyone look bad in quebec, if she gets in with a majority.

That is not what I said.

It is implied when you state "all quebecors and francophone [sic]" will be deemed to be "racist" if they "put marois in"; "[they] will all be painted with the same brush." You're putting the responsibility for the appointment of Marois as Premier of Quebec squarely on not just all Quebec voters but all people in Quebec and Francophones not only therein but even beyond! That's ludicrous.

There are xenophobic, parochial nationalists in Quebec who will vote for the PQ. That doesn't in any way mean all Quebecers and Francophones are racist.

"Nous"

Remember too that many in Quebec think of "Quebecois" as an ethnicity. Not just a "Nation" what ever that is, but an ethnic group. They view themselves like the Kurds, or Baluchi people, as a people without a homeland, and they view Quebec as that ethnic homeland, and this is what causes that racism.

Many people view themselves that way - are they all racist? Are the Israelis racist for demanding they be recognized as a Jewish state?

So you concede the point, I take it.

No.

There is no different "race" between Americans and Canadians, so if one were to think they were a race to oppose the other, than that would be simple racism.

There is, however, an identifiable "Japanese" race, and so if Japan decided that anyone who is not "Japanese" is not allowed to stay, than they are free to do so, in part as well because Japan has never sold itself as the place to be for immigrants.

I suppose. and with equal validity, Harpers reaction will make everyone in Canada look bad.

Well please explain that, this should be fun. Show me where anything harper did ,is anything like the racist marois. This is just pure BS on your part.

Harpers reaction will make everyone in Canada look bad. Not what he did, you see, but what he will do. I cannot show you what he will do because he hasn't done it yet...very much along your line that whatever Marois does will make Quebec look bad.

My point being who gives a shit if you don't like the way Quebecers look. I most certainly don't.

Well, it didn't take long for the violence to begin over the PQ as the government in Quebec. A man with a rifle, was caught by the police but one person was hurt another man died. Charest, lost HIS seat and its time for another leader for the Liberals in Quebec but they will have the NDP against them in the next election. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/quebecvotes2012/story/2012/09/05/marois-victory-speech-shot-fired.html

More BS , harper will do nothing, he does not have to. I see the media is trying to make it look like he is in trouble, what a joke that is. Harper is in the drivers seat and I am glad it is he and not a lib. He will give her enough rope to hang herself.

Pretzel logic

Come on. Japanese are a race so enacting race based policies aren't racism? And how are the Japanese any more or less a race than the Quebecois?

If you want to go down this road, neither Japanese nor Quebecois are races. Neither are the Israelis. So I guess they're all racist for enacting policies based on their ethnicity.
