c33 Posted August 29, 2012 Report Posted August 29, 2012 No problem, chief. We're a little overstaffed now so we'll add you to the list of people being laid off "for budget reasons" in the coming months. Better update that resume! And you're OK with this? Quote
Shady Posted September 7, 2012 Author Report Posted September 7, 2012 *sigh* More Romney Derangement Syndrome, this time, from one of the speakers at the DNC convention... Congressman John Lewis: "I Don't Want To Go Back" To Pre-Civil Rights PoliciesLink Nice. So first Biden insisting that he'd put blacks back in chains, and now this crap for brains insisting that Romney would institute pre-civil rights policies. Riiiight. But don't anyone dare call Obama a socialist! Quote
BubberMiley Posted September 7, 2012 Report Posted September 7, 2012 But don't anyone dare call Obama a socialist! What are you referring to? I've seen lots of people call him a socialist. Quote "I think it's fun watching the waldick get all excited/knickers in a knot over something." -scribblet
Shady Posted September 7, 2012 Author Report Posted September 7, 2012 What are you referring to? I've seen lots of people call him a socialist. Not without being taken to task by the mainstream media. Quote
BubberMiley Posted September 7, 2012 Report Posted September 7, 2012 Not without being taken to task by the mainstream media. You mean they had to endure the hardship of people saying they disagree with them? My word. How did you treat those vapours? Shady Posted September 9, 2012 Author Report Posted September 9, 2012 You mean they had to endure the hardship of people saying they disagree with them? Yes, from the self proclaimed stewards of objectivity. Anyways, the attacks on Romney are getting even more intellectual... From Bill Maher, one of the lefts most favourite spokespersons... #MittRomney u fucking loser, pack it in, when Black Elvis gets jiggy with his teleprompter ur dead meat Quote

Want some intellectual attacks on Romney? Actually watch Bill Maher, who, btw, is a comedian...and is right. Quote

Smallc Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 Isn't Bill Maher a libertarian? A left leaning one, for sure. Quote
Shady Posted September 9, 2012 Author Report Posted September 9, 2012 Want some intellectual attacks on Romney? Actually watch Bill Maher, who, btw, is a comedian...and is right. He's one of the most ill-informed people on television. Yes, his latest attack is highly intellectual. Doesn't surprise me coming from you, one of the biggest fanboys of Obama. And of course, what's not to be a fan of? Higher taxes, higher debt, record deficits, job killing regulations, energy killing regulations, and record weak job growth. But hey, he inherited a bad situation, so nothing is ever his fault. Probably still won't be at the end of his second term, if he gets one. Quote

dre Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 Not without being taken to task by the mainstream media. Well obviously anyone dumb enough to call a corporate crony like Obama a "socialist" is gonna get taken to task. Iv read a few of the formative works describing socialism, and I dont remember the part about giving trillions of dollars to private corporations, or forcing people to buy health services from private insurance companies  Quote I question things because I am human. jacee Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 Romney will fix this economy the way a bully exclaims "I'll fix your ass". http://www.democraticunderground.com/10021304123 Quote

So first Biden insisting that he'd put blacks back in chains, and now this crap for brains insisting that Romney would institute pre-civil rights policies. Riiiight. But don't anyone dare call Obama a socialist! Shady, you really should familiarize yourself with what Lewis was speaking of going back to...the right to vote. And if you notice, he said state Republicans not Romney were trying to suppress the vote. "Today it is unbelievable that there are Republican officials still trying to stop some people from voting," he said. "They are changing the rules, cutting polling hours and imposing requirements intended to suppress the vote. The Republican leader in the Pennsylvania House even bragged that his state's new voter ID law is 'gonna allow Governor Romney to win the state.' That's not right. That's not fair. That's not just."He noted similar efforts in Texas, Ohio, Florida, Wisconsin, Arizona, Georgia and South Carolina. "I've seen this before. I've lived this before. Too many people struggled, suffered and died to make it possible for every American to exercise their right to vote," Lewis said. "We have come too far together to ever turn back. So we must not be silent. We must stand up, speak up and speak out. We must march to the polls like never before. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/06/john-lewis-speech_n_1862843.html?utm_hp_ref=elections-2012 Quote

JerrySeinfeld Posted September 14, 2012 Report Posted September 14, 2012 (edited) Well obviously anyone dumb enough to call a corporate crony like Obama a "socialist" is gonna get taken to task. Iv read a few of the formative works describing socialism, and I dont remember the part about giving trillions of dollars to private corporations, or forcing people to buy health services from private insurance companies  Obama IS a socialist, he is simply forced to work within the limits he is faced with. He knows he can't confiscate ALL wealth like they did in Cuba. But he's a drug pusher pushing dependency on his base, and demonizing wealth. It's a socialist ideal, but he dresses it up as something else. There are a lot of people in the world who envy wealth and want to steal it. He is simply giving that concept a pretty face. It's sad, because America was the last country left on earth where even poor people didn't begrudge the rich, instead they aspired towards it. Now, America is just another state of self entitled public unions, just like Greece. Sad. Edited September 14, 2012 by JerrySeinfeld Quote
