I think the Subject Line needs to be spelled 'Monkee' - otherwise the title is reduncant. Any former monkey would be a dead monkey, I think.

It was sad to hear. I was a teenybopper fan of the Monkees* - especially Mickey and Davey (of course!). He looked great, I thought - like Donny Osmond, I think his looks improved with age.
