Nah, not of that high of stature…….I’d be counted amongst the 99%………As for why I choose to post here, well probably the same reason(s) as yourself and others.

I think they have some points though.. tuition for college / uni is much too high

these schools can afford to make it more affordable

Sure tuition is high, I’ve have two teenagers in high school………..but, a well rounded University education has to be looked at as an investment………Some invest wisely, some waste their (parents) money.

May we call you "Walden"? Or would that be too close to Demi Moore for your wife's sensibilities?

Well if you’re making 80k a year, for thirty years, that’s not a bad return………Even if you’re making 50k a year, that’s still not bad......think longview.

Really?!?

Then why do you feel it neccessary to flaunt/rub our noses in it?

Why make such claim if you can not prove it?

If you went to the bank and said to them "Hey my name is Derek L,I make $250/hr,my wife makes more and I want a loan/line of credit for millions of dollars." Would the bank say "Hey no problem, don't worry about showing us any deeds/titles to property you own,pay stubs, employer letters, bank statements, investment statements, last years tax return"

What makes you think you can convince me?

By the way this is the last comment I make of this nature in this thread since we are getting off topic.

Maple Leaf Web is now worth $720.00! Down over $1,500 in less than one year! Total fail of the moderation on this site! That reminds me, never ask Greg to be a business partner! NEVER!

Well you have a point……..I’ll come clean, I actually work part time at the local Esso, pumping gas…….Does that make you feel better?

That is true and will likely get “worse” as time goes on…it depends how adaptable a person makes themselves though as an end result………and how willing a person is to leave their “comfort zone” from time to time……..The best mantra regarding employment that I’ve hear (and have followed) is that you’re not committed to any one job.

For sure……..guns and ammo aren’t cheap………Trying to convince the wife that $2500 for an Armalite M4 is a good deal is no small task ;)

The CR-15 is a nice and inexpensive rifle. Got plenty of options as well.

Do you mean CZ-15? If so, not big on eastern euro weapons........

It would....for about one 24 hour news cycle. I'm already boored with them...next!

Don't worry they can diagnose children as young as 4 for ADHD, so there is hope for you yet.

Crap sorry AR-15.

That's what I'm looking at AR = Armalite rifle :)

Many companies make versions based on the classic M16/AR-15 design…….ArmaLite & Colt are just the best……..My Boy and I both have Ruger SR-22s for killing paper, I’ll probably end up getting the Ruger’s grown-up version SR-556

For nearly a 2/3rds the price…….. B)

I've no Complaints with any of the firearms I’ve purchased from them (10/22, SR-22s and my Mini-14 & Mini 30)

That shot right over my head  Who's Walden?

Aston Kutcher's new character on the old Charlie Sheen sitcom - 2 and 1/2 Men! The name is Walden Schmidt, a guy who made a billion when one of the Silicon Valley big guns bought up his dot. com company.

Why doesn't the U and Israel get together and make Israel a territory of the US, and then the US can say to Iran, IF you mess with Israel, you'll deal with the US military! I do think there's more behind than what we are being told.

Israel is a sovereign state...not a territory. Besides, Alberta is first in line! ;)

No need really, the Israelis have their own nukes…….and any major interference with Israel though, it has been implied that the US will support them…….Under Obama, that’s questionable though

...a child could carry it...do it no harm...

Never heard of them, sounds kind of like the Clash……..I’m assuming they are referring to the AR-18 (off shoot of the AR-15 design) though….It was one of the more “popular” western weapons used by the IRA, hence I assume the lyrics to the song……….5.56 NATO/.223 Remington, the cartridge of choice for western militaries, police forces, groups wishing to start their own religion and those that fear the coming apocalypse by the zombie hordes.
