I've caught bits and pieces of Ezra's show now and then. Nothing about it strikes me as insane. I think what you really mean to say is that if anyone doesn't agree with your political and social views they are insane. Have I got that right? He said that if the same conflict in the ME happened here, then it would be considered as a possible response. Please don't put words in other posters' mouths. looks like you didn't pay attention and didn't read the post and the thread carefully. bob repeatedly advocates for the expulsion (ethnic cleansing) of palestinians. try reading again: Maybe not all of them. But definitely many of them. And they're only going to be moved a few kilometres, either way. The Arabs were given about 80% of the British Mandate for Palestine, so let the rest of them join their "brothers and sisters". Me, I've never liked the CBC's news, not just for their obvious bias but also because they fill their news time with documentaries about blind lesbian fiddlin' riverdancers or homosexual logrollers in northern Alberta! It's mostly stuff I just don't care about! Even when they do something with fabulous cinematography, like ice recession in the high Arctic, they always have to mix it up with politically correct "science", presenting the ice withdrawal as absolutely part of global warming, which is absolutely 100% unnatural and totally the fault of evil industrialists and Canadians who refuse to buy the new compact florescent light bulbs! I've never seen a CBC tv personality yet who I would trust to replace the plug on a lamp. Anyhow, I LIKE SUN-TV! Especially the women anchors! I love to see them push "ethical oil" and break the story about how the Saudis tried to bully our TV with lawsuits! I howled when I found out that CTV had simply caved! Great entertainment! To be fair, over the years I have preferred CTV but only as a last resort. Anyhow, give SUN a couple of years and we'll see how the ratings stand up. Right now, since we've never really had any news from the "right" how can we say if many Canadians like it? Oh let's be real here, the sun news guys might be over the top, but insane, no. Ezra is a bit of a pompous ass, but his show is basically low taxes, small govt, and more personal freedom. The other guys on there have more extreme views than he does. Ezra comes off as a pompous ass. If anybody pisses me off on that channel its adler. Apparently SNN has comparable ratings to other canadian news networks which is what SNN is, and it isn't much. Its not supposed to compete with the main ctv and cbc because it doesn't carry actual "normal" shows or sports. All SNN is, is a giant ass discussion on conservatism in canada. If you seen one show you've seen them all. That's why I prefer ctvnn, all it is, is what goes on during the day in a loop. Going to cable I can understand but I'll be disappointed if they stop their OTA transmission. I gave up cable and satellite in favour of my own OTA system. I just finally got pissed off with having to buy a package with 10 boring specialty channels like "The Shopping Channel" and "The Watching Paint Dry" channel just to get ONE channel like Space or History! Screw 'em and the horses they rode in on! Hopefully they will maintain the OTA. If they already had an investment in transmitters it doesn't make much sense to scrap them after only a year or so. Those things ain't cheap! 'Specially with the antennae and the land to go with them. 'Specially with the antennae and the land to go with them. They had no choice, they knew they would not win with the CRTC. The gave up their licence quite some time ago, it takes effect at the end of this month, October. If they can make a go of it, fine, but I doubt it. BBM measurements dictate advert charges, and they already have lousy adverts, unless Harold the Jeweller is your fav. Quote
