punked Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 No, he's making NDP points. There's a difference. He quoted the Liberal platform in this question and made the point that freezing aid which is in the platform is not something they agree with. It impresses me that Layton would know what the other platforms say when addressing a question. That is a fact. Quote

punked Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 I like the format more then last election I wish the monitor would uphold the rules more though. Quote
Grimzby Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 Does Harper have a cucumber up his butt......what a stiff....looks like a wind up toy. Quote
punked Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 Why is Iggy so angry all the guy does is yell. Is that how they debate at Harvard? Quote
Shady Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 Why is Iggy so angry all the guy does is yell. Is that how they debate at Harvard? Good question, that's what I was trying to figure out. I've never seen a debate with someone sounding so angry. Quote
TheRightWing Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 None of them are exactly "blowing me away" Layton looks likes a deer in the headlights. I'm pretty sure ignotgonnawinfuckall has repeated himself about 10, 000 times so far. Harper... Meh he could definitely address some of the charges thrown his way a little better, Duceppe is still being well.. Duceppe... Useless and unimportant. Quote
blueblood Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 Why is Iggy so angry all the guy does is yell. Is that how they debate at Harvard? Iggy is looking for a fight and harper just talks into the camera, layton should take notes! I know seriously that is the last person I want going into a meeting with another nations leader. Seriously is this how this man holds himself? Quote
capricorn Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 I like the format more then last election I wish the monitor would uphold the rules more though. The exchanges should not be too controlled IMO. Man, is Ignatieff ever getting angry and repeating points a lot...not good...so far Harper is holding his cool and not used the word coalition yet. punked Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 I feel like Iggy is a Monster from a Japanese Monster movie. "Ohhhhh noes it is Godzilla no wait it is Iggy" Quote

I think iggy lost his cool after his first exchange with layton Quote "Stop the Madness!!!" - Kevin O'Leary "Money is the ultimate scorecard of life!". - Kevin O'Leary Economic Left/Right: 4.00 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.77

Harper started off slow, but he's held his own. Quote
punked Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 He should be upset, all I've heard from Harper is half truths and lies. And I've heard of the Liberals half truths and lies. I don't go around yelling at them. This is not democracy. Quote
capricorn Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 Iggy is looking for a fight and harper just talks into the camera, layton should take notes! TheRightWing Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 He should be upset, all I've heard from Harper is half truths and lies. Oh and everything that's come from Iggy's mouth is just the gospel truth. I'm not disagreeing with you I'm only gonna point out that saying a politician is telling half truths and lies is as redundant as saying that the sky is blue. Quote
capricorn Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 Harper led off with coalition knowing full well what he was opening up. He made his point and will now drop it unless the others bring it up again. Quote "We always want the best man to win an election. Unfortunately, he never runs." Will Rogers
TheRightWing Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 I like Laytons point about proportional representation. I share that view. Quote
Shakeyhands Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 I'd like to know what Harpers intentions actually were in 2004 now. What other option was there? Quote "They muddy the water, to make it seem deep." - Friedrich Nietzsche
punked Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Still think Layton is the only one actually making real points with real facts. Everyone else is talking points, which I can forgive Harper for because he is running on his record and trying to ignore everyone else. Quote
blueblood Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 So far harper has looked "prime ministerial", all the other guys are having a shouting match.
