There are Tories; and there are extreme right wing Tories such as Harper's party. Campbell from BC is Liberal and is the same type of extreme right wing style and ideas.

So caesar, you're saying that the only option is vote Liberal. You can't trust the Conservatives because they will destroy our social services. But you can't trust the NDP because they will destroy only economy. So the only option is voting Liberal.

Well I resent that option. If Mr.Harper wins , he will be in a minroity government, so he will have to lean left.

I am one of those long time Liberal supporters that will be voting conservative in this election. Among other issues, tired of all theft, waist and high taxes.

My family have recently lost a close friend. Her death was due to manslaughter. The person who committed the act will spend two years behind bars. That's it!

Harper's speech regarding replacing the Liberal turn-style form of justice with the Conservative "Lock and Key" swayed my vote immediately.

I think Harper stands for better democracy - more power to the provinces (grassroots democracy), free speech in his Party (e.g. his MPs are allowed to be pro-choice or pro-life, whereas the Liberals make sure everybody sings Martin's tune no matter what their personal beliefs or those of their constituents) and bringing to heel the undemocratic but definitely partisan powermongers in Canada (Supreme Court and Senate). So I'm backing him.

Wow, I really love this forum, but my only beef is that -- as I've said before -- It's a conservative love fest. Where's all the liberal backers? I wish this discussion board was more representative of the polls...

or perhaps (Just MAYBE) your polls are biased and wrong? Maybe the rest of Canada doesn't love your Liberals as much as you seem to think they do according to your Liberal media outlets I wouldn't trust the CBC's opinion on anything personally or any such news station.
