These are some of the things said regarding an event cancelled for safety reasons a few weeks ago...

So she's a chicken shit too? Can't handle the criticsm?

No threats against her

but playing the victim role comes easier to Palin than admitting a scheduling conflict…and especially since she has so those who buy into her role as the victim.

That's just a small sample of some of the hateful rhetoric that was produced by some of our rabid and hate-filled anti-Palin posters. Claiming to know for a fact, that there were absolutely no threats made against her.

And when I suggested that there's probably information out there that we don't necessarily have access to, this is what was said...

It seems to me that the type of information you are suggesting they have would fall under the heading "specific threat."

Having a "security" reason to cancel, and yea, we all know thats bullshit, lets them invoke the clause in their insurance policy to re-coup the losses.

Keep inventing scenarios you admit yourself you "know nothing about."

You're reaching badly here. Any actual threat, anonymous or otherwise, would constitute a specific threat. Do you think some psycho is going to send an engraved invitation with their name and time of assasination?

Welp, at least you've come around to realize that the security concerns were bogus. I'm not sure this new line of argument makes you look any better, though.

It's pretty clear at this point that neither security nor free speech issues had any bearing on the cancellation.

So it looks like I was right all along. There were threats, that weren't made public. Even though our forum group of Palin Deragement Syndromer's liked to pretend they were privy to every and all information regarding this issue.

You people really need to find a new outlet for your anger and hate. Or, perhaps seek out professional help. You all need it. Badly.

You people really need to find a new outlet for your anger and hate. Or, perhaps seek out professional help. You all need it. Badly.

How does a guy from Pennsylvania sending a threat to Plain's parents in Alaska constitute a threat to Palin herself in Colorado? When did that incident take place? What's the connection with the cancelled engagement?

Well, the local police and organizers of the event both said there was no specific threat, but I guess they'd be unlikely to have access to that kind of information. No, it takes a great detective to get to the bottom of this and see that it was in fact a guy from Pennsylvania making threats against Palin's parents in Anchorage Alaska who was behind the cancellation of a speaking engagement in Colorado this whole time. And he would have got away with it if it weren't for that pesky kid Shady and his dog.

Unless of course you believe this was the only threat Sarah Palin has received.

That is what you are implying by suggesting this threat (again, originating in PA and directed at the Palins of Alaska) is the very threat that caused the cancellation of the event in Colorado. In fact you went so far as to suggest the only other alternative would be too much of a coincidence to be considered.

But I will make a concession. "Mrs Palin, I want apologize to you because ticket sales were so bad they cancelled your event and it must break your heart not to get that fee, but you do get paid...some. Also that threat against your folks is uncalled for and frankly stupid. But of course please do continue to use that threat to try and link it as the cause of the cancelled speaking engagement.
