I am sure you think you do but if you had even the most rudimentary knowledge of collective bargaining you would believe otherwise. I will try to excuse your ignorance.

It's part of the proposed reform law. Bargaining for salaries would remain.

You are repeating yourself, sonny.

I'm sorry for that. But for some reason you're refusing to acknowledge actual facts pertaining to the Wisconsin reform bill. Instead, you just call people names.

The problem with the argument being advanced by the Governor is that the public has rejected it. Most people can see through this ploy except perhaps for the ill informed. I put you in that category.

You went from denying its existence, to now asserting that the public has rejected it. The public may have indeed rejected the idea. But the fact that it exists (bargaining remaining in place for salaries) cannot be disputed. I'm not sure why you were disputing that fact before.

You appear to have reading comprehension problems. My position has been consistent throughout the discussion.

Judge Rules Courts Cannot Force Dem. Senators To Return To Madison

Oconto County Judge Made Ruling After Resident Filed Complaint Against Sen. Holperin

OCONTO, Wis. -- A judge in Oconto County ruled Wednesday the state Constitution gives neither residents nor the court jurisdiction to bring the missing 14 senators back to Madison to vote on the budget.

The ruling came after a resident filed a lawsuit against Senator Jim Holperin, D-Conover.

The suit asked the court to issue a peremptory writ of mandamus, basically demanding that Holperin return to the senate or face a felony.

The judge denied the motion stating that while Holperin is absent without leave, it is up to the Senate to enforce its own rules and get the senators to come back.

WRONG AGAIN

The bill would limit collective bargaining by public workers only to wages......as long as the wage increases they were bargaining on was less then inflation. YOU FORGET THE CAP! So they are allowed to ask for up to the rate of inflation.

This is means every time they get less then the maximum they get poorer. So you are WRONG!

That's exactly what I said. How does that make me wrong?

......as long as the wage increases they were bargaining on was less then inflation.

Not less than inflation, just not over inflation. But if it is over inflation, voters would decide. You know, voters, tax payers, the people that pay for the salaries.

I have to say that from what I've seen on the news, the behaviour of the protesters in Wisconsin is to say the least, bat crazy and pretty ugly, if this where a tea party protest the media would be all over it.

So they wouldn't have collective bargaining at all? While I can what you describe you think is fair and it just might be it is not Collective bargaining. Just because you stupid enough to repeat a lie that is not bargaining on wages.

Saying "We can bargain on wages as long as you are going to take a pay increase," isn't collective bargaining Shady. It just isn't. That is the whole point and you keep lying.

The funniest was when the MSM tried to label the tea party as racists and had the whole naacp vs tea party situation. The tea party made a lot of people look like fools.

I've never stated they were racist.

Only delusional; and hypocritical about their supposed distaste for "big governemnt," even as they are thoroughly co-opted into one of the two biggest and most powerful mainstream big government parties on Earth.

they also hold higher than national-average beleifs that Obama is a "secret Muslim" who is "not american, thus providing an unhealthy dose of wild-eyed conspiracists into the mix.

The only way the tea party could realistically make a difference is by running as republicans. It has been successful and the gop has to cater to them. One has to get elected to enact change. That's the beauty of usa primaries. Big spending republicans got the boot.

As for the obama deal, there are elements of the american left that views bush as hitler, nazi, fascist, et al. Tea party has their nuts, the dems have theirs welcome to politics.

I can't help noticing that the Fox News propaganda machine can't say the word 'union', without attaching 'thug' to it. And then there's Glenn Beck, running his stupid mouth about class warfare. Someone had a sign at one of the demonstrations last week which read "they don't call it class warfare until we decide to fight back!"....truer words were never spoken.

Complete nonsense. First, you don't watch Fox News. Stop lying and pretending you do. Second, they don't attach thug to every mention of union. That's completely absurd.

This is also Fox News. But you people never talk about stuff like this, because it doesn't fit your pathetic narratives.

Before you accuse anyone of lying, you better have something to back it up with! I know what bullshit Fox serves up because there are media watchdog groups that monitor their broadcasts...they watch Fox so I don't have to! So, don't go throwing shit around like calling me a liar, since I never said I was tuning in in the first place. I was a subscriber when they first got approved by the CRTC, but I would have to be an idiot to be paying extra to watch their crap now. And speaking of their crap, Mediamatters has a complete analysis of their latest propaganda story...which I believe you took - hook, line and sinker, when they produced a false claim of millions of dollars worth of cleanup costs -- Fox Uses Wildly Inflated Cleanup Estimate To Bash Wisconsin Protesters Fine if you want to get your ideas from a propaganda source, but don't call it factual information!

Yeah right, all they got is Sheppard Smith offering a dissenting voice there now. Who do you think you're kidding?

I see, so you know that Fox News attaches thug to every mention of union, but you don't subscribe to Fox News, and you don't watch it. You trust the so-called watchdog groups, even though those groups are completely partisan, and funded by leftwing ideologues.:blink:

Even after I provide you with an example of a pro-union discussion where thug isn't mentioned at all. Will you at least take back your ridiculous and completely false assertion?

Pot meet kettle!

Yep, Media Matters hates Fox News. So does MoveOn.org. Both are leftwing partisan political groups. Basically the same thing as you claim Fox News to be. But you're ok with sourcing them, but not Fox News. LOL!

Yeah right, all they got is Sheppard Smith offering a dissenting voice there now. Who do you think you're kidding?

How would you know who the dissenting voices on Fox News are? Do you think Media Matters and MoveOn.org will tell you? You didn't know about Shep Smith, so why do you think you know about others? Fox News constantly has dissenting voices. Much of Fox New's evening opinion success has to do with confrontation. And you can only acheive that with somebody with a different point of view. Two people with the same view doesn't really make good television. And certainly doesn't lead to heated debate, yelling or screaming, etc. You don't understand that you're being fed propaganda at least on the same level you think Fox News is at.
