scouterjim Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Why would that be? Torontonians are so full of themselves. I found it the most cold hearted, unfriendly city I have ever visited. Quote I have captured the rare duct taped platypus.

Mr.Canada Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 What a silly name. It suggests that we have a massive Latino community or something. Ole...Ole, Ole, Ole. Quote "You are scum for insinuating that isn't the case you snake." -William Ashley Canadian Immigration Reform Blog
guyser Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 I prefer "the Center of the Universe" as TO's monicker. Centre of Canada will do. Closest to the truth. Business,Fashion (may lose that one) Money , great place to live too ! Quote
jbg Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 (edited) Centre of Canada will do. Closest to the truth.Should be "center" but quite true, apparently. Business,Fashion (may lose that one) Money , great place to live too ! Rather blooring if you want my opinion. Unless you're yonge or yonge at heart. Will the steps anyone is proposing to fight "climate change" reduce a single temperature, by a single degree, at a single location? scouterjim Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 (edited) How did you behave to elicit this response ? I asked directions on the street from some people. One answer I got was , "Buy a map, asshole! People in this city are too busy to answer your stupid questions." Other answers I received weren't as polite as that one. Mr.Canada Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 It showed me what a hole Toronto is. As I said, "cold hearted and unfriendly". I hate the city. It's dirty, full of beggars, drug addicts and whores. Plus yes, people are very rude. I avoid it at all costs. Shakeyhands Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Torontonians are so full of themselves. I found it the most cold hearted, unfriendly city I have ever visited. I've worked in TO for 20+ years and I lived there through Uni and beyond for a few years and have never thought that. You know, you can run in to rude people just about anywhere. It's nothing to do with the city, but rather the person. Quote "They muddy the water, to make it seem deep." - Friedrich Nietzsche

Growing up out west, I was basically taught that Torontonians have cloven hooves and horns, but I was quite surprised to find many are friendly, helpful, generous and kind. Vancouver people are actually far more stuck up. Based on this and the hockey thread, scouterjim is kind of an asshole magnet. Quote
