One answer I got was , "Buy a map, asshole! People in this city are too busy to answer your stupid questions." Other answers I received weren't as polite as that one. I've worked in TO for 20+ years and I lived there through Uni and beyond for a few years and have never thought that. You know, you can run in to rude people just about anywhere. Growing up out west, I was basically taught that Torontonians have cloven hooves and horns, but I was quite surprised to find many are friendly, helpful, generous and kind.
