Centre of Canada will do. Closest to the truth.

Should be "center" but quite true, apparently.

Business,Fashion (may lose that one) Money , great place to live too !

Rather blooring if you want my opinion. Unless you're yonge or yonge at heart. Edited by jbg

How did you behave to elicit this response ?

I asked directions on the street from some people. One answer I got was , "Buy a map, asshole! People in this city are too busy to answer your stupid questions." Other answers I received weren't as polite as that one. Edited by scouterjim

I think I would laugh my ass off if someone said that to me. I always help people if they ask me for directions. I am not that big of a jerk.

Wow. Sounds terrible. This isn't a typical response, though. Give El Toro one more chance !

or...

I hate the city. It's dirty, full of beggars, drug addicts and whores. Plus yes, people are very rude.

I avoid it at all costs.

Which is the real Mr Canada? The nice cinematographer who helps people or the bigot that hates beggars, addicts and whores?

Torontonians are so full of themselves. I found it the most cold hearted, unfriendly city I have ever visited.

I've worked in TO for 20+ years and I lived there through Uni and beyond for a few years and have never thought that. You know, you can run in to rude people just about anywhere. It's nothing to do with the city, but rather the person.

Word. Growing up out west, I was basically taught that Torontonians have cloven hooves and horns, but I was quite surprised to find many are friendly, helpful, generous and kind. Vancouver people are actually far more stuck up.

Based on this and the hockey thread, scouterjim is kind of an asshole magnet.

Except when prurience calls right? I mean the Gay Pride Film Expedition and all. :D

Perhaps because the assholes know that I have no use for them, and not being able to understand that, they seek me out.
