PIK Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 (edited) LOL The TO star give us a break, so let me guess ,by that they mean iggy is more in touch with canadians. So you have to live outside the country for 35 years to be able to understand canadians? Let me guess that is the polling outfit that the poller actually works for the liberals. Maybe iggy is partly right ,some canadians are stupid. Edited January 13, 2011 by PIK Quote Toronto, like a roach motel in the middle of a pretty living room.

scribblet Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 Well, according to the latest poll the CPC has a 7 point lead... guess it's the Red Star that's out of touch. Quote Hey Ho - Ontario Liberals Have to Go - Fight Wynne - save our province

Keepitsimple Posted January 14, 2011 Report Posted January 14, 2011 (edited) What a farce. Not only are the questions obviously ideologically driven - but the results are completely at odds with the general question of whether Canadians think that Global Warming is a fact, or not: 04/27/10) - Views on Global Warming Vary in Three Countries(Angus Reid Global Monitor) – People in three countries hold differing views on climate change, according to a poll by Angus Reid Public Opinion. 58 per cent of respondents in Canada believe global warming is a fact and is mostly caused by emissions from vehicles and industrial facilities, but only 41 per cent of Americans and 38 per cent of Britons concur. Now, take a look at who actually paid for this "Toronto Star" 3 month old "poll": Organizations involved in the poll include, KAIROS: Canadian Ecumenical Justice Initiatives, Canadian Union of Postal Workers, Indigenous Environmental Network, Common Frontiers, Public Service Alliance of Canada and Toronto Bolivia Solidarity. Moonbox Posted January 14, 2011 Report Posted January 14, 2011 Now, take a look at who actually paid for this "Toronto Star" 3 month old "poll" Hey Topaz will get his reassurances from anyone he can. If someone told him he/she'd had a prophetic dream about Michael Ignatieff curing cancer, ending world hunger and thereby finally endearing himself to Canadians and winning the next election, he'd be posting it here as fact. Esq Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 It really gets me that these polls are established based on the "leader" of the party. The whole notion is dictatorial. It be nice to see a party composed of representatives that form a policy by consulting with their riding associations. Instead we get parties that tell their ridings who their leaders are, and leaders who are selected from a corporate board. So much for populism, and representative democracy. Quote
