sharkman Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 According to the Wrap, Hannity gave 5 grand to Michelle Bachmann. he is interviewing her.Would that be "crossing the line" if true, or are you going to courageously refrain from commenting on Hannity? Well I can't say what the FOX employee policy is. I think a person should be allowed to make donations, but if the company they work for has some rules concerning political donations, they should follow them. After thinking about it for a while, it does seem a little odd. Quote
Dog Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 ABC , NBC , CBS, FOX , CNN , etc all have similar rules when it comes to on air talent donating to political campaign's . You can donate but you MUST clear it with management first and this is the rule Olbermann broke . Several people at MSNBC made donations to political campaign's including Joe Scarborough but they cleared them with management first . I believe the fact that Olbermann's ratings dropped 44 % year over year has much more to do with his demise then anything else . I understand NPR has a opening perhaps he could drag his act over there . Quote

After thinking about it for a while, it does seem a little odd. Glad you said it seems odd. Well, obviously we have a KO fan here at Maple leaf, but what Olbermann did was pretty unethical and stupid, really. So, it's not unethical or stupid then. Good. By the way, are any of the booster club members going to answer the Fox/Hannity question? Quote "They muddy the water, to make it seem deep." - Friedrich Nietzsche
bush_cheney2004 Posted November 8, 2010 Author Report Posted November 8, 2010 ...By the way, are any of the booster club members going to answer the Fox/Hannity question? The question has already been answered in the linked article. Go back and read it. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.

I understand NPR has a opening perhaps he could drag his act over there . Olbermann's ratings have dropped? It's the most popular show on MSNBC. The whole network has dropped 44% in the ratings, I think. Quote I want to be in the class that ensures the classless society remains classless.
BubberMiley Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 Now it appears Tucker Carlson, who long ago went over the edge into wingnuttery, is sending out emails posing as Olbermann. Stay classy, right-wingers. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/11/09/keith-olbermann-hoax-did-_n_781241.html Quote "I think it's fun watching the waldick get all excited/knickers in a knot over something." -scribblet
ironstone Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 I noticed Keith Olberman's bias the first time I watched his show when he called Sarah Palin an idiot, very unprofessional to say the least. We all have our biases in here but the truth is,MSNBC is perhaps the most blatant offender.I defy anyone to watch Olberman,or The Ed Show(can you say BLOWHARD?)or Chris("thrill up my leg!)Matthews and tell me these guys are real objective, prefessional hosts. How do they stand up in the ratings compared to FOX? Excuse me while I get ready to watch Bill O'Reilly. ironstone Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 After looking at these numbers,I think poor old Keith deserves a break.
