So I've been making note of this for some time, however, Yemen will be the next battleground for this War on Terror as the battle continues with Al-Queda. Yemen been a 'problem' for some time. And I was expecting some kind of attack coming from that country.

The only thing I am not sure about is when.

Place your bets.

Somalia's pretty big on the list as well.

With all the pirate activity from Somalia, I agree, that would be high on the list as well.

Yemen and Somalia are next door neighbors. Both have very militant Islamist groups linked to al Qaeda operating openly within their bodies. The Yemeni government is trying, but simply doesn't have the resources. Somali doesn't have a government. In both cases if there's any real will to battle terrorism, the West is going to have to get its hands dirty. But of course, all the weak-kneed will talk about the nasty things that the Canadians and Americans did in Somalia and talk about not interfering in a sovereign peoples' right to live in absolute anarchy.

I say we put a goddamned navy in the of the Gulf of Aden, made up of whoever wants to contribute, patrol the waters, blow pirates to the stratosphere, and make sure that anything larger than a seagull leaving the Somali coast be boarded and inspected. As to Yemen, they need a lot more help than they are getting, though I give them credit for at least trying not to be toppled like Somalia was.

the attacks will not come from any country, but from individuals making homemade bombs in basements.

Yemen will be another cakewalk for big bully USA, to make it feel proud. Invade a country full of emaciated, illiterate drug addicts.

not happening...Yeman is friendly country it's an internal matter they need to do it themselves...

Somalia is a bottomless pit worse than afghanistan the US will be absolutelyt bankrupt should they go in...

and it's all futile none of these cells operate with the approval of the government in charge they will merely move to another location...

Iraq was a friend to the US as well back in the 80s. Things obviously can and do change.
