Interesting opinion.

Actually FAR more people were killed under Marxist religion - in OUR time, not medieval times. Even more than Hitler did.

What other religion, except Islam, is shooting women in football field for alleged infidelity, for the entertainment value??

Marxism is a political ideology, not a religion. But if you want a related religious ideology that went along with Marxism then that would be atheism. However, the Christians killed far more people than any other religion in history.

Yet again, this isn't original, but I liked it. Christianity was brutal and awful and terrible and on and on. And it evolved over time. I have heard the theory that a similar thing will happen to Islam. But how many people will die, get their hands cut off, be stoned etc. before that happens?

Marxism is a political ideology, not a religion.

It's a belief, therefore religion.

However, the Christians killed far more people than any other religion in history.

Actually Atheists did. Now that you correctred me on Marxism.

Tens of millions.

As opposed to thousands in medieval times.

Subsitute "Islam" with "Moonie" or "Smoker" or "Child Molester" and folks would feel free to call a spade a spade...but since a billion people belong to this particular Medieval cult I'm supposed to show it some degree of respect as it seeks to change my way-of-life.

How about we substitute "Islam" with "conservative" and ban conservatives from making speeches at DND since one of their leaders was implicated in the murder of an unarmed Indian at Ipperwash.

Not some idealoligical threat about some country overseas, but an actual killing right here in Canada.

Or is that somehow different since religion is not involved?

Not at all pussy. You are just some dog that does nothing in life and prefers licking his own balls to chasing fast cars.

Freud would have found your strange zoological sexuality fascinating.

Tell me about your mother...

Just because you can "lick your own balls" doesn't mean others do or even want to.

Nice try. Harper is a goof.

Wish I could find a better source but it seems that the main stream media didn't think it was important:

MCC welcomes Minster Mackay’s decision to bar CIC Imam

OTTAWA - The Muslim Canadian Congress (MCC) has strongly welcomed the decision by Minister Peter Mackay to bar an Imam from the Canadian Islamic Congress from speaking at an internal event at Department of National Defence headquarters Monday.

“In the past few years we have seen the so-called Islamic History Month turned into a propaganda machine for the Islamists in Canada who wanted to introduce Sharia Law and who wish to hide behind the cover of teaching history to infiltrate the highest levels of government in Ottawa,” said Salma Siddiqui, Vice President of the MCC.

“Muslims have much to be proud off in their heritage, but what the CIC has been doing is to spread the doctrine of Islamism wrapped in a sugar-coated view of the past that glosses over the facts that have led to today’s near universal morass and decay in Islamic societies worldwide,” added Siddiqui. “Islamic history should be taught by academics and historians, not clerics and propagandists,” she added.

Welcoming the decision by Defence Minister Peter Mackay, the MCC vice president said, “We now need to make sure that all future events surrounding the so-called Islamic History Month be taken away from the grip of the Canadian Islamic Congress and other Islamist organizations.” She said she was troubled by the fact that Islamists had managed to penetrate the highest levels of the Ottawa bureaucracy and the political apparatus of all political parties.

Nice try. Harper is a goof.

But it isn't "Harper is a goof." It is the principle involved that seems to be applied selectively according to political tastes and, in this case, using a more or less peaceful group of people in this country as scapegoats for purely political motives and ensuring it gets in the news. What is the real messaging all about here?

Now perhaps you belong to a relatively safe demographic that wouldn't have to worry about such things as much, but what does that say about us - that allow this sort of thing to be enacted by our minority government against a segment of our population.

Meh...the beloved CIC was caught saying every Israeli not in diapers is a target for death. Support them as you see fit.

Go to school fool. A belief in justice is not a religion.

How is Marxism belief in justice??? Or did you mean justass? Have you live under that regime yourself?

That does not compare to the hundreds of millions killed by Christians.

Let see the evidence it was even tens of thousands in past history as compared to tens of millions in Mao's China alone in our time.

Ah, now we are getting somewhere.

Have you lived in Marxist paradise?

Nope. Most everyone on the left and right would argue, however, that countries like China and the USSR were abhorrations of Marxism.

Hitler did exactly what he wanted to and what he stated in Mein Kampf. Not so much for the USSR. So, no, the two examples aren't the same.

Incorrect one would not argue that countries like China and the USSR were aberrations of marxism. It was that these countries were unable to move beyond the socio economic conflict period of socialism as defined by Marx; Socialism: workers gain class consciousness, and via proletarian revolution depose the capitalist dictatorship of the bourgeoisie, replacing it in turn with dictatorship of the proletariat through which the socialization of the means of production can be realized.
