bush_cheney2004 Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 (edited) I find it amazing how Canadians make so many pronouncements about how Fox news is so awful, yet don't subscribe to it - how does that work LOL Yes it is amazing...Internet or not. Why are they spending so much time both watching Fox News and watching/reading analysis of Fox News if it's so "awful"? Why would they care about Glenn Beck either way? Edited September 4, 2010 by bush_cheney2004 Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
nicky10013 Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 That just isn't true. And don't pretend you watch his show, let alone subscribe to Fox News. Because we all know you don't. You're just regurgitating what you've heard from other sources. Quote

Why are they spending so much time both watching Fox News and watching/reading analysis of Fox News if it's so "awful"? Why would they care about Glenn Beck either way? Exactly. All they are doing is parroting the left wing who hate Fox with a passion or anything else that gives a different point of view. I didn't hear any 'hate' in Glenn Beck's speech, but if you want a race baiter check out Al Sharpton, his speech was not so great. Al Sharpton ( and Tawanna Brawley) - the David Duke of the Democrats LOL Quote Hey Ho - Ontario Liberals Have to Go - Fight Wynne - save our province
waldo Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 Exactly. Obama's a racist, you say? Quote
Shady Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 nah, no race baitin/hatin goin on here... what's that Glenn? Obama's a racist, you say? Ah, a great video from the George Soros funded Media Matters. I found it highly entertaining. I'm not sure how that could be considered hate speech. Is it hate speech if you think somebody is racist, or doing things on the basis of race? Nope. If he's racist for calling somebody else racist, then everyone who calls him racist is also racist. No, it isn't inherently racist for someone to call someone else racist. However, when you're calling a black man racist to smear him on live TV when he's done nothing racist at all, if you see nothing inherently racist about that, well, then, I'd love to live in your dream world for a day to see what it's like. nicky10013 Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 Exactly. Yep Is it a smear if he believes it? Or is it just an opinion? It's Glenn Beck, of course it's a smear. I don't think we'll ever know what he truly believes, though. I'm still up in the air about whether he's duping you guys because it's just that easy if you talk about tax cuts, small government and claim there's a liberal bias. He could believe it, though. Either way, you're getting piles of horse shit. Some people may object to that assertion. I know some in the Cambridge Police Department might. And he had anything to do with that other than inviting them BOTH to the white house how? Quote
Pliny Posted September 6, 2010 Report Posted September 6, 2010 (edited) I believe Glenn Beck is a little over-zealous in the media matters video. He is making an accusation he shouldn't. He should apologize really. His personal assumptions regarding Obama's views on race should not be aired. He has a responsiblity to be objective. Obama's politics are suspect. He is very evasive when asked about his ideological bent. Waldo is just as much a racebaiter but let's face it Beck has a greater responsibility. I believe Obama cleaves to socialist concepts because he never grew up in America and had a myriad of "mentors" of the Marxist mentality. I think he is getting more of an idea of what America is now and it isn't anything like he thought as a community organizer. Falsely accusing someone of racism is racist? So when a black man feels that something a white man has said is racist, and calls the white man a racist, but objective investigation disagrees, we can then conclude that the black man is a racist? Or does this standard apply only to white men? Are you one of these people that thinks whites are inherently more racist and should be ruthlessly beaten into the dirt for the supposed sins of their ancestors? Quote

Certainly you have difficulty when someone shows the self-described and touted inclusiveness of your favoured tea-party/Beck-Palin-a-palooza... is false. You could go up against all the analysis out there - analysis that clearly shows the tea-party is anything but inclusive... you could do that, Pliny. Simply step-up and counter that analysis - or continue your masterbaiter act. btw, other than a few years in Indonesia, Obama grew up in Hawaii - I always thought that was a part of 'America' - go figure. Thats the game that made him and other reactionary fire-brand pundits rich and famous. Quote I question things because I am human. And call no one my father who's no closer than a stranger
Pliny Posted September 6, 2010 Report Posted September 6, 2010 Why SHOULDNT Glenn Beck be playing his game? Thats the game that made him and other reactionary fire-brand pundits rich and famous. I'm certain you are correct - and further - that all they really care about is being rich and famous. As much as you would like to give him credit for inventing "his game". It has been around a lot longer than Glenn Beck has. What political party offers more to Blacks, more programs, more welfare, etc.? The Democrats. What political party do Blacks vote for? The Democrats. People who are dependent on others have Masters. I think Blacks are wising up to this ploy. Is "dre" short for "dreamer"?
