sharkman Posted June 13, 2010 Report Posted June 13, 2010 It's the best I can give for someone who's advocating for a right wing reaffirmation session when you have plenty of them as we speak. Uh, we don't have plenty of networks let alone plenty of conservative slant networks. How many can you name? I'll give you a start; CBC, Global and CTV are not conservative. Quote
Michael Hardner Posted June 13, 2010 Report Posted June 13, 2010 If you use `conservative` as a term that has a common definition, then CTV is definitely conservative. If you`re one of those conservatives who thinks Brian Mulroney or even Harper isn`t conservative, then you should highlight us that you`re using your own private definitions for things. No harm in that, I do it with the term `Christian` too. Quote Click to learn why Climate Change is caused by HUMANS Michael Hardner

Andrew Coyne, noted conservative editor of McLean's Magazine and National Post columnist? Allan Gregg, former Mulroney Staffer? Chantel Hebert is the only truly "liberal" on the panel! If you think a private broacaster, like CTV, that was founded by a noted conservative supporter named John Bassett is liberal,I have to wonder how far to the right you go? CTV is pro business...Always has been. On today's Question Period show, the journalist panel consisted of Jim Travers(who writes for the TO Star, but you would be hard pressed to say he is'nt fair),A columnist from the Globe(who's name escapes me at the moment) who is no liberal. They allowed Ezra Levant equal time... I don't see the need for it because there is plenty of conservative thought and talk in the media. You keep telling youself that while you're watching your reaffirmation session... I'll watch too..I truly hope they link up to Glenn Beck's show... He's the gift that keeps on giving to sane people everywhere! Can't wait for Gerry Nichols Freedom Hour... Story time with Myron Thompson? How 'bout 4 huge hours of Charles McVety? Did I say the Ceeb was'nt left wing? Riiiight...And I'm the simpleton... Why are you labeling this station biased before it's even up and running? Who at the CTV has a conservative bias? Everyone blasts Fox News for being biased. During the presidential election, did you happen to catch any news from CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC? They were Obama cheerleaders without the pom poms. That made me realize how supposedly unbiased news outlets try their hardest to influence public opinion. Do you realize how biased the New York Times is? Anyone who thinks the Globe and Mail is fair to conservatives has no clue what is really going on. I like to hear both sides. However, I hear one side more than the other. That's why this station will be welcome to many canadians. Edited June 14, 2010 by lukin Quote
