Moonlight Graham Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 Uhhh...sorry no link, just turn on the news! DOW drops bigtime today very quickly. Man, bailing out big companies first, now bailing out entire countries. This is a crazy, scary globalized world we live in. I'm selling all my stocks, i'm sure that will make things better! I'm selling all my stocks, i'm sure that will make things better! a country in this situation isn't much different than a company...if you let them go under they take a number of innocent bystanders(countries) with them...but with countries it's a chain reaction we really don't want to see... I don't understand the problems the Greeks have with this, they're facing bankruptcy they'll have to suck it up and take the medicine... Bob Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 Just a quick observation - why are these bandits and rioters being given the label of "protesters"? They're going around killing people, destroying property, and looting. I've seen video images of them violently attacking law enforcement, and the law enforcement doesn't seem to be doing much to stop them. Severe circumstances call for severe reactions, does the Greek government seem afraid to take on these animals? Quote My blog - bobinisrael.blogspot.com - I am writing on it, again!
Oleg Bach Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 The EU is Hitlers belated dream come true. National Socialism failed....we beat the bastards into oblivion...still it was reborn..look at that Obama fella..he is a National Socialist...commonly called Nazi...they create an empoverished docile population that supports a few super rich jerks..bail out anyone? Oleg Bach Posted May 7, 2010 Report Posted May 7, 2010 The super rich are super stupid..they all run like little rats at the thought of losing ten bucks..rule of thumb for the money boys...is................take everything you can and give nothing back ever..unless it is a tax thing that makes you look chariable...point being ..the second they see a riot on a street they figure the poor people are going to want 20 bucks our of their pocket..If you have 20 billion in assets ---losing 20 bucks goes against all you believe in and stand for..hence terror and a plunging of the markets..what a bunch of sucks. Oleg Bach Posted May 7, 2010 Report Posted May 7, 2010 You don't get rich being stupid. Maybe we are the stupid ones? You get rich by being cruel...some of us rather have class and real dignity than gold plated toilets. Quote

Moonlight Graham Posted May 7, 2010 Author Report Posted May 7, 2010 You get rich by being cruel...some of us rather have class and real dignity than gold plated toilets. I disagree again. You don't necessarily have to be a horrible person to get rich. Smarts, a ton of hard work, and some luck can get someone to the top, its been proven time and again. But i'll definitely say that many of the people at the top of the economic food chain are a-holes. But you know what? There's a lot of greedy middle-class and lower-class a-holes as well. M.Dancer Posted May 7, 2010 Report Posted May 7, 2010 http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/37000759/ns/technology_and_science-tech_and_gadgets Computer glitch/human error. Nothing at all to do with the Greece. Oh and I see ShakyHands posted another article about it. While there is no doubt that the amrkets are down, not because of the protests but because of the Greek economic situation, the glitch/error is still real and has real effects.
