bush_cheney2004 Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 First I'm making it all up and, failing that, no one gives a shit about terrorism on American soil. Good rebuttal. What terrorism....you mean the old news of good 'ol boys playing in the forest with AR-15s? Stop the presses folks...we got "white boys" trying to overthrow the God durn govmint'. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
bush_cheney2004 Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 ....I thought conservatives took terrorists on American soil seriously. I guess, like BC said, it's only worthy of attention after the fact, when there are dead bodies. Unless, of course, there's a chance you can make Obama look soft on terror. But we see who are the ones who are truly soft on terror, and who overlook it when they consider the terrorists one of their own. "one of their own"....of course they are...they are Americans! DUH! Now if you were to pull some crap like that we would plaster your Canadian ass all over the front page and Youtube! LOL! Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
Moonlight Graham Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 ...handsome group! lol. This isn't a story about the dangers of right-wing extremists, its about the dangers of inbreeding. Guest TrueMetis Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 Did it ever occur to you that maybe we just don't give a shit....because these groups are old news? It's not that big a deal compared to "health care"! LOL! A bunch of people plan to kill cops and no one gives a shit. You've got your priorities straight. Quote

Conspiracy to kill police officers is not big news down here until you can show me the bodies. "Cops" run this risk every day on and off duty...many are killed each year. bush_cheney2004 Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 Going back in time to the Simbianese Liberation Army: Los Angeles Police Department bombs On August 21, 1975, a bomb that came within 1/16 of an inch of detonating was discovered where a Los Angeles Police Department patrol car had been parked in front of an International House of Pancakes restaurant earlier in the day.[5] After the bomb was discovered, all Los Angeles police were ordered to search under their cars, and another bomb was found in front of a police department about a mile away.[5] Soliah was accused of planting the bombs in an attempt to avenge the SLA members who had died a year earlier in the standoff with LA police.[5] The pipe bombs were rigged to detonate as the patrol cars drove away. One police officer present that day described the first bomb as one of "the most dangerous pipe bombs he had ever seen" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sara_Jane_Olson#Los_Angeles_Police_Department_bombs Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
M.Dancer Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 Yes, totally buried among fifty or so other dead stories. Rather than do the traditional follow-up (who are these people, etc.?), today's headlines include a question whether Obama is snubbing Red states and whether Iran is closer to Nukes. I thought conservatives took terrorists on American soil seriously. I guess, like BC said, it's only worthy of attention after the fact, when there are dead bodies. Unless, of course, there's a chance you can make Obama look soft on terror. But we see who are the ones who are truly soft on terror, and who overlook it when they consider the terrorists one of their own. You are lost in la la land. Yesterday, contrary to your assertion, it was one of the top stories on their home page. Today, 3 days after the fact, it is still on page one, a top story in the US category. Eric CantorWASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. authorities have arrested and charged a man with threatening to kill the No. 2 Republican in the House of Representatives, Eric Cantor, and his family, according to court documents filed on Monday. Norman Leboon, 38, was accused of making the threat in a video on YouTube in which he said, "You receive my bullets in your office, remember they will be placed in your heads," according to an FBI affidavit accompanying the charge. Certainly, you could drill down on the link. So, yes... I would have to agree that Fox News didn't emphasize this story proportionately - apparently, there's no Muslim angle! Quote
