Your application as requested is refused. …“A letter was mailed on 04 September 2009 notifying you of the decision of refusal on your previous application at which time you were requested to leave Canada. “You must leave Canada (before your visa expires) … Failure to do so could result in enforcement actions being taken against you.” Source Here's whats wrong with the system in Canada. The RCMP should arrest him and put him on a plane immediately. Not wait for him to do so on his own, he could easily dissappear into Canada and become a dangerous fundamentalist Muslim fugitive. This leading Imam was booted out of Canada but is asked nicely to leave on his own. This is just silly, he should be arrested and put on a plane bound for his home nation. With the bombing of subways by Muslims around the world we cannot take any chances any longer, we need to protect the citizens of Canada. There's nothing to stop him from not leaving at all. Hopefully the RCMP is keeping tabs on the Imam. I'm sure that since he's a leading Imam he'd be hard to hide anyhow but at the same time since he is so revered maybe more people would be willing to hide him so putting Canadians at risk. Who knows what this man is preaching. Many mosques in Canada preach Islamofacist ideals, this could be one of them. We must protect Canadian society from terrorist attacks. We're going to be attacked in our Subway, it's not a matter of if but rather when. Bottom line is why take the chance. yes anyone who is ordered out of the country should be deposited on the next plane back to their home country. No matter of race, religion or sexual orientation. I think what we were asking for was some actual evidence, not just a generic slur. I have no problem with removing a guy if he stays past his visa, but you're making this sound like some dangerous Islamist is here, and I want concrete evidence of that. Apply, wait for response and sometimes get called to a hearing. Fairly simple. Staying for any time in this country can be quite arduous, and the paperwork often dizzying.
