Aren't you thinking of Britain? As far as the US goes, I think they were pissed at Israel for possibly stealing nuclear materials from the USN back in the 1960s. Nixon had told Golda Meir that if Israel was going for a Bomb...not to test or make any information public. To me it seems they were pretty much out of the loop.

Could be....i thought i read somewhere that the U.S. military helped get the Israeli's Nuclear project off the ground but i could be wrong on that i will double check.

If you can produce a single post of mine that says I love dictatorships I will promptly log off this forum and never come back. Ever.

Here's a clue of what to look for.

A dictatorship is defined as an autocratic form of government in which the government is ruled by an individual, the dictator, without hereditary ascension. It has three possible meanings:

1. A Roman dictator was a political office of the Roman Republic. Roman dictators were allocated absolute power during times of emergency. Their power was originally neither arbitrary nor unaccountable, being subject to law and requiring retrospective justification. There were no such dictatorships after the beginning of the 2nd century BC, and later dictators such as Sulla and the Roman Emperors exercised power much more personally and arbitrarily.

2. A government controlled by one person or a small group of people.

3. In contemporary usage, dictatorship refers to an autocratic form of absolute rule by leadership unrestricted by law, constitutions, or other social and political factors within the state.

A couple of notes on the 2nd point;

a.) No doubt Morris will be in here screaming that my oft-repeated references to citizens assemblies is proof positive I'm guilty of point number 2. But note that by citizen assembly I mean the exact same type that BC used to determine the question on PR, which ironically enough was voted down in a referendum.

b.) The fact my death squads have since eliminated all the citizens on that particular assembly is neither here nor there.

you have no idea how many nukes Israel has, and if they can't deliver them they no effect anyways...

if Iran even has 4 and can deliver them Israel ceases to exist as a country, Iran leads Israel in missile technology...and Iran is large enough it would recover from an exchange of nukes...size matters...

If Israel "ceases to exist as a country" then doesn't it stand to reason that a vast number of Palestinians will also" cease to exist" because Iran successfully delelopes and launches a nuclear weapon?
