And I doubt Israel or the US would be that vocal about it. When Iran gets the nuke, you are going to find out that there will be much diplomacy and the hard talk will fade away. Iran WILL use it in self defence. I doubt they will use it offensively regardless of what Iran is saying. Iran's leader openly threatened to wipe Israel of the planet,Israel doesn t have the luxury of waiting around to see if he is bluffing or not.Iran's leadership are hardline Islamic fanatic's, who is to say Iran won't lob a Nuke at Israel even though they know seconds later Iran would be annihilated..but to an Islamic Fanatic they would go down as heroic Martyr's. I think this is the reason why we have not seen anything like Hiroshima and Nagazaki since. Not even North Korea is that stupid. And they HAVE a nuke. They have made several threats to South Korea. And the US pussyfoots around with them. Deals, no deals, deals no deals, round and round. The US screamed that they would upset the stability in that part of the world. Nothing changed with NK getting the bomb.It's no different that the situation with Iran. Nothing will change after they get the bomb. Quote

If Iran stayed convention Israel would likely wait to make sure if it is an real attack or not,Iran goes Nuclear then Israel will let loose with it's Nuclear tipped jericho 3 missiles at the drop of a hat. Second of all the U.S.A.F. stated Israel has 400+ nukes who do you think help them get them?? they should know. Iran getting a nuclear weapon is a direct threat to Israel and Israel will attack Iran before they ever build one! some estimate that this last round of negotiations which according to the U.N. today has failed will pave the way for an Israeli attack and very soon,an article i posted claimed Israel is calling up it's reserves to prepare for an attack on Iran within 1 month.Iran can avoid all of this just by giving up their nukes..they are not thwarting an Israeli attack by building a Nuke they are pushing Israel into a war. As far as the US goes, I think they were pissed at Israel for possibly stealing nuclear materials from the USN back in the 1960s. Nixon had told Golda Meir that if Israel was going for a Bomb...not to test or make any information public. To me it seems they were pretty much out of the loop.
