All this does is slow down any economic recovery that was underway. Are you fed up with all of the games in Ottawa? If you want to make your voice heard call your MP and let them know. It'll achieve a lot more than some internet petition that people who matter will never read. Oleg Bach Posted September 4, 2009 Report Share Posted September 4, 2009 Approving of the conservative attitude personally - I vote right...BUT Harper has to go...for one reason and one reason only - for allowing a thousand young men to become crippled mentally and physically - for facilitating the deaths of fine young men in Afghanistan - for no reason other than to please the American corporates - Harper is not fit - a Prime Minister is like the father of a nation - He did not protect his sons - he sacraficed them - with no reward - for no reason - wasted these beautiful young men ...for that and only that he must lose the next election...other than that - I am sure he's an okay guy - but a father is not a father if he fails to protect his family - He did not protect Canada ---------------------what has this Afghani "mission" accomplished? The Liberals have done nothing but supported the Afghan mission time for the NDP. Iggy might be a real conservative - that conserves our wealth and lives and the lives of our marshall class - our soldiers are precious and should never be duped or used as if they are disposable - look how the Bushites and now Obama - is continuing to waste human resourses in a murderous manner..as for Layton _ maybe if guided properly and advised by liberal and real conservative thinkers might just be able to run the place...I have deep resentment for anyone who believes they are God - and killing directly or indirectly is horrific..killing our own children is what it amounts to - the neo-con artists can F off! I would rather have the nation fall into total well mangaged socialism if it saves one single life. The liberals would never insist on bringing the boys home - because they play the emotional card..an emotion generated out of foolish and wrongful patriotism....I guess the "high way of heros" serves liberal purpose - I doubt that the NDP is not above emotional manipulation of the people...we have a real problem ---to much ambition and not enough caring benevolent leadership. (A Liberal majority, that is.) This election will be a pointless exercise. The way the polls are looking it will be another conservative minority with fewer seats... so pretty much the same as we have now. The other option is a Liberal minority that will be taken down within another year from the election. A doubt there is any chance of a majority in either direction this time around. The only significant event I can foresee is that whichever leader loses will cease to be their party's leader. Unless of course, if the Conservatives win the slimmest of minorities, Ignatieff may resuscitate the coalition. If the GG installs him as PM he will survive as Liberal leader.
