BubberMiley Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 Yep, smarter then that, and smarter then you. But still too stupid to know when to use "then" and when to use "than." Quote "I think it's fun watching the waldick get all excited/knickers in a knot over something." -scribblet
Shady Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 But still too stupid to know when to use "then" and when to use "than." So basically you're conceding my point. Thank you. Quote
BubberMiley Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 You're welcome. I guess I should read whatever that point was now. Quote "I think it's fun watching the waldick get all excited/knickers in a knot over something." -scribblet
GostHacked Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 For perjury. It's been known for quite a while that Armitage was the source of the leak. It's just ashame that so many of you rely on far leftwing websites for your news, instead of more credible sources. So if Armitage had come out about it before Libby, why was Libby charged at all? All three had a part in outing Plame. Scooter gets the sqare for outing Plame. Armitage goes free. Unless you feel it is the right thing to do, to bring Armitage in and convict him of the crime of outing Plame as well. http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/09/08/lea...tage/index.html In a column published on July 14, 2003, Novak, citing two senior administration officials, noted that Plame was a CIA operative. The column was primarily about Plame's husband, Joe Wilson, a former career diplomat and critic of the intelligence underlying the invasion of Iraq. There were two people who outed her it seems, Armitage and Rowe. Libby was the scapegoat, the fall guy. While no one has been indicted for actually leaking Plame's identity, Lewis "Scooter" Libby, the former chief of staff to Vice President Dick Cheney, has been charged with perjury, obstruction of justice and lying to investigators for allegedly giving false information about his discussions with journalists about Plame. He may not have been charged with outing the name, but I fail to see how Libby was charged with lying about the information about Plame, and not Armitage or Rowe, when they seemed to have more involvement in it than Libby. Passing the buck, disctraction, deflection from the real issues I would guess. Quote
scorpio Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 Scooter Libby for one. You asked who "they" were and Libby was indeed part of the neferious white house gang, plus he lied about his involvement with the outing. Libby resigned all three government positions immediately after he was indicted on federal charges of obstruction and perjury resulting from the grand jury investigation into the leak of the covert identity of Central Intelligence Agency officer Valerie PlameIn his trial for his role in the Plame affair, United States v. Libby,[4][5] the jury convicted Libby on four of the five counts in the indictment: one count of obstruction of justice; two counts of perjury; and one count of making false statements to federal investigators (wikipedia) Quote

Moonlight Graham Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 Do you defend Cheney and Rove because you approve of their values?Just curious. BC, aren't you going to answer this question? bush_cheney2004 Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 BC, aren't you going to answer this question? I guess so, since you chased me down like a deranged Michael Jackson fan. (I don't read all posts....sorry). Cheney and Rove don't care if I approve of their values, and I sure approve of that. I approve of my own values too. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
