What do you think? If Harper was serious about ending the subsidy, he should have been interested in ending the personal tax deduction for all political donations. That would include personal taxes. I can’t see him giving good grades whatever comes out of implementing the budget’s measures.The budget shoots in so many directions something’s bound to hit a few right targets. Why don’t the opposition just wait for the impact of the budgetary measures here and measures in the rest of the world's economies before calling for more spending? Of course if they did, they’d miss good media opportunities to blast the government. Magic, that’s what everyone wants. And if that magic hits them with a few bucks from the Treasury, all the better. If the opposition manages to squeeze more money out of Harper, that will result in an even bigger deficit. The bigger the deficit, the bigger the hammer with which to hit the Conservatives on the head with in a future election. That's about what I'm thinking, but I like the way you've explained it. I never really thought that the Liberals could moan and groan for more stimulus and then pretend they had nothing to do with it several years from now. You could be right and it would be pretty funny to see how the blame game pans out. All of the so called services - and corporate operations that once the founder is dead - lose sight of their purpose - and function strickly on a self survivalist mode - the bottom line with no real usefull purpose...These companies that do nothing and brag about being important when the world could easily do without them - should be the first to go - and they are going NATURALLY... We are just mopping up the mess of parasites that have been living well and producing only declarations of importance and use. For instance my little friend Al was the "producer of the year" for a major American insurance company ---- I asked him what he REALLY did...he could never give me an answer - now he can - He drives a school bus and does jury duty...finally he is useful. The Con radio shows are saying you can't get out of debt by going further into debt and they think the package over there will do very little. If the US economy falls were does that put Canada and if it does, are you ready? I just can't help thinking this is all planned out for the creation of the NAU and before any of you ask about the toaster, just stop and think what is REALLY happening. More people out of working than ever before, the banks in trouble, the high debt of the US. I for one, don`t want the NAU but what other options are there going to be if the US dollar becomes worthless and Canada is pulled down with them.....well how about we join forces? The environment minister even talks about a NAmerican plan for the environment. I say keep your eyes and ears open as well as your mind and watch how far the Federal government goes to harmonize with the US by 2012. Quote

Started listening to short wave reports about 7 years ago...what is taking place now is done with intent and design - Everything I warned my friends and family about 7 years ago is now mainstream...some of us will adjust - some will panic - and some will panic and perish with this storm of change...conspiracy? The word does not signify mental illness or paranoia - if more that one person conspires (breathes together as one force with one intent) - then it is real. That ridiculous cabinet is a bone of contention with me as well. It's like watching a glutton at a buffet with the faces of street urchins pressed to the glass hoping for just a bite. With the economic crisis and people losing their jobs, watching so many mugs trying to get into the camera shot is obscene. An extra $75,000.00 per year plus secretaries, limos, drivers.... I thought he wanted to reduce government spending. Drop off a dozen at least. They have no real function other than reading press releases, anyway, and we just can't afford them.
