JerrySeinfeld Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 I am part of the problem? I didn't know that patriotism was a problem. Foundationless propaganda certainly is. You haven't made an argument. Your cause is baseless. You want to talk about problems? Start with a baseless cause with no arguments to back it up. THAT's a problem. Quote
Smallc Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Its your attitude. If you were patriotic you would listen to those who tell you there is a problem. And what is this "PROBLEM"? Quote
Alta4ever Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 And what is this "PROBLEM"? The problem is that you do not look outside the boarders of Ont and Queb. The Propblem is that upper and lower Canada step on the rest of the nation. You treat us as slaves. You belittle and deminish the contributions of the rest of the nation. Smallc Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 (edited) The problem is that you do not look outside the boarders of Ont and Queb. Being as I don't live in either of those provinces and being that I've never been to Quebec, I have no idea what your talking about. I have been to Alberta. Beautiful place. I also haven't seen anyone step on you as of late and when I was in your province I didn't see any suffering. I know nobody has stepped on my province. What do I know though, I live in a province that receives far more "welfare" per person than Quebec. Edited December 4, 2008 by Smallc Quote
Smallc Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 I'd like to see an example of Ontario stepping on Alberta (that took place after the NEP). Quote
Smallc Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 But if its too much trouble, I'm sorry for sticking up for Canada. Go on hating it all you like. I simply hope that the majority of Alberta'ns don't feel this way. Quote
Jack Weber Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 excuse me for a moment before I answer that... (baaaaahahahahahahahahahahahaha )...ahem...ok. Quebec's separatist movement is futile intentionally. They never wanted to. Well I'm glad you brough that up - because that's the first thing as a republic we'd do! Elminate all of these useless, Trudeaupian progams and unionized make work projcets that the left wing and central Canada is so famous for. You know..You should move... -VMG- Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Because if we separated we would be hypocrites. People are mad at the coalition because the Bloc support it... what does it make us if we separate from Canada? Quote
JerrySeinfeld Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 You know..You should move...Alabama or Missisippi would be a good place to start.... Your complete and utter lack of tolerance for other opinions lends to YOU moving... to George Orwell's 1984-land...or perhaps Nazi germany. This is precisely the very problem with central Canada. Everyone drinks the same kool-aid, everyone marches in step with the same left wing multi-culti union social program nanny-state muzaak. And when someone like me interrupts the broken record, you try to shut us up so you can continue your trance. Quote

Slim MacSquinty Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 I don't think our issues are geographic in the sense of east west or provincial. I think the divide in Canada is urban rural. Ontario is divided because Toronto thinks it is Ontario, and make a pretty big sucking sound in the rest of the province, if not the country. Quote

Alberta_Blue Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Neither would I, I just love rubbing the stereotype back in urbanites faces! as we enjoy telling the east to go away and let us be, now we have power, economic power, and the east continously tries to suck it dry and leave nothing for the west to build off of... why? because you have more population? so you have more population, so we should work in the cotton fields for you guys? we want whats rightfully ours, and if you want some of our stake, move here and pay our PST.. wait, we don't have a PST.. also, we love throwing the separtist issue back in the faces of quebec, they only want to separate because of their language indifference from the rest of the country? how much more do they want all of Canada to bend over before they stop giving it to us all? it's tiresome, its endless, and it really upsets a lot of people out west.. no one out here minds paying the billions and billions to a united Canada, but we are tired of being told how much, and how to run our businesses, our environment, our health care systems, our education, and our way of life... you're not from the west, so stop telling us how the west should be run.. now having said all that, we FINALLY have someone from the west in power, after decades? of work? and immediately the East is calling for his head, why? is the sky falling or something? if you didn't notice the rest of the world, including the west, is in economic turmoil.. the Liberals have proven time and time again, especially in the last recession, that they have NO IDEA how to run the country.. I think its about time that someone from out west, where we thrive with prosperity, takes the bull by the horns and runs our country the way it needs to be during economic hardships, and those out East should go along for the ride and see a different view of how to run a government is done.... who knows, maybe you'll pick up some good ideas and enjoy the way the Conservatives govern... You've asked the West to shup up for decades while you told us what to do, i think its about time ONT and QUE shuts up and listens to us since we've always overcome your destruction of our way of life, businesses, education, and health care... I have to admit, from time to time I am comepletely dumbfounded by the ideas and perecptions that are baselessly thrown around by some people on the left. This post by you is such a weak and transparent strawman that it doesn't even come across as "faux" credibility. We don't want to "tell you how to run the country". we just want to be left alone! Its just that you are too stupid to remember what you wrote just yesterday or the day before, but considering your track record, it is not surprising. Here is a reminder... Get it? I don't love this country, I hate it. It's a disgusting, despicable trough of power and greed in which the central and eastern Canadian provinces feed at our expense. That's become obvious. Clear enough for ya? So, you have admitted you hate this country, you offer no solutions to any problems, and you showcase your stupidity. I will however , stick up for your rights to post more idiocy. And that no doubt wont be a long wait. Quote
