You've confused him with the original poster on this thread.

I think he's referring to this.

Hiiiiiilarious.

The record is not confused at all....let Franken wait.....

The article quotes Franken putting an edgy twist on the discussion: "And 'I give the pills to Lesley Stahl. Then when Lesley's passed out, I take her to the closet and rape her.' Or 'That's why you never see Lesley until February.' Or, 'When she passes out I put her in various positions and take pictures of her."

MacDonald takes it a step further, suggesting that the Rooney rape comment be directed at other "60 Minutes" icons Mike Wallace and Ed Bradley. Franken chimes in: "What about 'I drag Mike into my office and rape him. Right here! I guess that makes me bad.

Economics trumps Virtue.

They lost a long time ago. Coleman even got a new job already, but I guess every day Franken is not seated is a small victory for them.

The fact that they think referring to his jokes shows they know they lost. People in Minnesota made their choice. The Democrats won. Franken won.

Didn't Norm Coleman voted against funding for the Violence Against Women Act?

But just for good measure.

Of course. I'm just curious if Bubber is going to throw a temper-tantrum over Franken's comments like he did over Shady's in the other thread.

A temper tantrum, like a child would throw? :)

Franken's subjects are grown-ups. You can talk about grown-ups getting raped or engaging in fist-bumps all you want. I just take exception to people talking about sex with minors. Don't you?

My opinion is Franken's joke is repugnant. I'm sure it lost him some votes and almost the election.

My view of the joke told in the other thread was that it was repugnant as well. It certainly didn't win any argument.
