MacDonald takes it a step further, suggesting that the Rooney rape comment be directed at other "60 Minutes" icons Mike Wallace and Ed Bradley. Franken's subjects are grown-ups. You can talk about grown-ups getting raped or engaging in fist-bumps all you want. I just take exception to people talking about sex with minors. Don't you? I'm sure it lost him some votes and almost the election. My view of the joke told in the other thread was that it was repugnant as well. It certainly didn't win any argument.
