Liam Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 So, let's play a parlor game: if Obama loses, who do you think the odds-on favorite for the next Dem nomination will be? Same with the GOP, if McCan loses, who has the inside track on 2012? My picks: Hillary Clinton for the Dems, Newt Gingrich for the GOP. Biden and Palin will be toast. No chance for either, IMO. Quote

Same with the GOP, if McCan loses, who has the inside track on 2012? If Obama loses, I think the next Democratic candidate for President will be Senator Al Franken of Minnesota. My picks: Hillary Clinton for the Dems, Newt Gingrich for the GOP.Biden and Palin will be toast. No chance for either, IMO. If McCain loses this election, I expect we will see Gary Sinise capture the nomination after serving two years in the House in a seat captured in the mid-term. Quote

Romney to me seems like the best Republican candidate that is on the horizon right now. I can't help wondering about Rice. I can't imagine that we've seen the last of her. I don't know whether being part of the Bush regime taints her irreparably. Biden and Palin will be toast. No chance for either, IMO. Agreed. If the Republicans lose, Palin will likely take the blame. The cartoon-job that has been done of her makes her non-viable in the future. Even if she does actually go read some geography and history books, she'll never shake the image of being painfully uninformed about the big picture. And why would Biden even get any consideration... the fact that he was seen as a nice, safe VP nominee pick would do little to hide the fact that he was a total non-factor in the Democratic nomination. -k Quote (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Friendly forum facilitator! ┬──┬◡ノ(° -°ノ)
Shady Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 Biden and Palin will be toast. No chance for either, IMO. Biden yes, Palin no. Sarah Palin will be campaigning in Iowa 3 years from now, if McCain/Palin lose the election. However, I still think Romney would be the favourite. If Obama loses, Hillary will again be in a strong position to win the nomination. If Obama wins, she's likely not to run again. Quote
GostHacked Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 I'd like to see Ron Paul run again. He might make more progress next time, considering he predicted this whole finnancial crisis long time ago. I can see Hillary Clinton making another run for it. But she will end up being VP to someone else. Quote

But she will end up being VP to someone else. By the time Hilary gets back she will be dithering..time is taking it's toll...It is regretable that General Collin Powell was used up and burned out and spit out - NOW - that was a grand man - who would have made a truely great first black president - but they held him back till the spirit left - they beat the life out of him and now he is old. As far as the finacial crisis is concerned - some novice better get out a piece of plain white paper and a black pen - and draw up a simple diagram to explain what went wrong and reverse the process - all this talk and expert advice will not serve us well. Mr.Canada Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 Hussein Obama will name himself President for life or outlaw the Rep. party to further his Black Liberation teachings by having the Dem in power forever. He will scrap the Bill of Rights and the constitution and rewrite them. That is my prediction. Oleg Bach Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 A few of us know this. That Obama is not a natural born American citizen. Everybody is quietly aware of this. This total and utter contempt of the American constitution up to now would never have been imagined as legitimate and lawful. Still they plow on. To elect Obama would be to say that America has no constitution and America no longer exists as we know it. This is the most fantastic event in American history - and not a peep out of the greedy internationalist globalist lunitics that call themselves congress...Odd! Quote
GostHacked Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 A few of us know this. That Obama is not a natural born American citizen. He was born in Hawaii. It is not Mainland USA, but still part of the US. It's about as natural as they come. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama Born in Hawaii Aug, 1964. Quote
Oleg Bach Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 A suit was filed - and it was blocked and not heard in regards to Obama not meeting the criterium which is the basis for presidential office. A potential president must be born on American soil. Supposedly the Obama lawyers did not want to disclose the documents that would state whether he was an American or not. IF he is not an American and he takes the Oval Office - the most powerful office on earth - then we may as well say - the planet is one nation - now is that pin head up to ruling the world? That is my question? Quote

Mr.Canada Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 Huissien Obama will be the last President of the USA we will ever need. I'm sure he'll feel the same way. Should we call him El Presidente yet? He will ban all gun ownership so as to have a disarmed society. Then there will be no resistance to the plan. He will then start having sit downs with the likes of Kim jong-Il and the Iranian President not to mention the Libyan ruler. After that President Hussein Obama will then start socializing the USA at the tune of 3 Trillion dollars.
