Topaz Posted December 12, 2007 Report Posted December 12, 2007 Twice, at two different times, I've a NDP minister bring up SPP and I was quite surprised because the Libs and Harper on mum on this topic. Today. a minister came out and said that the NDP were against the SPP and it was not good for Canada. Quote
searchingforaformerclearity Posted December 12, 2007 Report Posted December 12, 2007 why would the NDP be against it Quote
DrGreenthumb Posted December 13, 2007 Report Posted December 13, 2007 The NDP are against it for the same reason they are against the extradition of Marc Scott Emery, they value Canadian sovereignty. The spp is the north american union, or more accurately the americanization of Canada and Mexico. Its no conspiracy theory it is already happening. Resistance is NOT futile, I will NOT be assimilated. Quote

gc1765 Posted December 13, 2007 Report Posted December 13, 2007 What's SPP? Socialized Private Partnership? I think it's this: Link Quote Almost three thousand people died needlessly and tragically at the World Trade Center on September 11; ten thousand Africans die needlessly and tragically every single day-and have died every single day since September 11-of AIDS, TB, and malaria. We need to keep September 11 in perspective, especially because the ten thousand daily deaths are preventable. - Jeffrey Sachs (from his book "The End of Poverty")

Topaz Posted December 13, 2007 Author Report Posted December 13, 2007 I did some research and the NDP on their website have about 4 pages dealing with this, I found some on the Libs and on the Cons website, I couldn't even find a "search" button. I did find only the speech that Harper gave in the past summit in Quebec. I guess they don't want Canadians to know how they REALLY feel about this. Now, the Libs and the Cons are the ones that started this and are the ones continuing with this to happen. Quote

Fortunata Posted December 14, 2007 Report Posted December 14, 2007 Andrew Coin said last night that the biggest mistake the government (and past Lib governments) made over this is doing it in secret. It should have all been done out in the open for input and to rest people's fears. Doing anything is secret raises suspicions but regardless of secret or transparent, I am not in favour. Quote
DrGreenthumb Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 Yikes, who would want security and prosperity? I guess willbur would be ok with the nuking of major Canadian cities, as long as the Replupli-conservites call it Operation Warm Hearts and Teddy Bears. you can call a steaming pile of shit a rose but it will still look and smell like a pile of shit .
