Ex Machina features Oscar Isaac, who is on a serious roll the last couple of years. He has been around for a while, but has been really good lately in leading roles in Inside Llewyn Davis, was great in the understated underrated A Most Violent Year, good if Ex Machina, and and very good in the HBO series Show Me A Hero.
