How does that compare,we are talking about other peoples actions like lighten fires, or driving drunk and then punishing everyone else for their actions....kind of like the gun ban on legal gun owners because the criminals hence the name criminals don't follow the law....must be something in that liberal logic....a small percentage of the population screw things up and the majority of law abiding citizens get punished...

Yes and we could ban people from driving because it keeps others safe from drunk drivers.... yes,everyone has all their toes and fingers, and everything has been mangable...not the point but yes....even with the ban in place more fires have been started by people no less...like i said punishing everyone for a few asshats...or the 1 % of the population... Me, i'm not concerned with the government overreach, or authoritarianism my problem it is with their solutions, going from reasonable to overkill....If banning people was the answer why is not every province doing it....is banning necessary to get a grip on fires....

If we used that logic, we should ban people from driving cars, because some people drive drunk and kill people...we could ban a lot of things because some people are mor0ns...and you can't teach stupid.... nor should we punish everyone because of a few people....i find it funny that this is what the choose to do, restrict all peoples movements....i mean they could have said we are investing in Forrest management,or buying new water bombers,or hiring more Forest fire fighters...nope what they announces was most outdoor activities are canceled stay out of the woods, and our waterways not because of fire but because they may or may not be able to rescue anyone...

And yet even with that fact NFLD still has "NO" ban in the woods.....neither do any other provinces which have major forest fires...So either they are being reasonable, or NS/ NB are overstepping...or those provinces with no bans are not protecting it's citizen's which one is it...

They have the sea, or are you saying Egypt and Israel should allow them in and out whenever they want, what ever happened to sovereignty...or is that for everyone else except these two country's...The fact that Palestinian don't have a very good reputation in either country is the major problem , And there still is the sea, how did we get so many palestinian here in Canada, Europe and elsewhere must be a way out or it is the least secure prison in history... There is no stealing of land in Gaza, to which Hamas controls, the Palestinian authority is in control of the west bank, thats where the stealing is occurring ... If they are exiting or entering Israel yes Israel has full control,like any other sovereign nation, Israel also controls what comes in through the sea side of the border, they are checking for weapons' and rockets...that kill Jews...Gaza also borders Egypt and they control who comes into their country as well... Not going to deny, jews stealing Palestinian lands...but it is the price of dealing with terrorism is it not...I see most of europe hae not recognized them, and those that are going to do it soon, are they doing it to pi$$ off trump or they are concerned with palestinian people plight....recognition of a terrorist state sends the wrong message to the rest of the globe...and Canada should stop all aid and recognition..

Have i said that, not that i'm aware of, they have a dangerous job in a war zone, what did you think was going to happen....and i'm sure some of them are hamas associates, why is that such a big leap when 9 UNRWA members were fired for the same thing some even took part in the hostage raid...Murphy law applies in a war zone if it can happen it will happen to everyone no one is excluded including journalist...Innocent people have the highest death rate in any war...this one is no different...

What i'm saying is i'm much rather believe an Israel source than one from Hamas or organizations supporting Hamas...Why lie, about killing one journalist, the globe is not really that interested and in a few days it will be old news...New offensive coming up thats what is going to be in the media... Control the information highway is very much a large part of the conflict, maintaining Israel's reputation would be key to any release of info. This is trumps second term, i guess Canada slept through the those years, we had a huge glance at what was coming....we said the same thing about China and that trade war, and we still do business with china...maybe this time we will take it more seriously...I hope Carney gets a grip on it soon or he might be that one hit wonder... According to the premier it is not about fires...Its about not being able to rescue people, hence why no fishing in the middle of the lake...Has your province have a total ban on all activity in the woods...yes/ no Is your province protecting you in the same way...

So they do have options if the price is right....meanwhile Canada needs to do a better job at sell to other countries....lessening our need to depend on US markets for everything... Yes because whatever Israel will do or has done will change your mind on this conflict...234 dead journalist are not enough,you need more to spark the water cooler conversations about just how bad palestinian terrorist have it...and what lengths they go to hide the truths about what is going on in Gaza. Western Journalist are not going to go freely into Gaza...unless they are paid a lot more than they are now....why leave a nice western class hotel when your story can be written by Israel the day before...

None of them on that list are western journalist that's a fact, as for western media they are staying in a nice secure hotel ,and get spoon feed their nightly brief by israelis military sources...They did the same in Afghanistan, most not all did not even leave the wire, i can count on one hand the number that did leave with a full military escort, and only one Canadian journalist that went out on his own...this is the norm for western journalists... I've yet seen anyone on this forum post any source suggesting the Israelis military was wrong...

You must be invested or just chirping one of the two because like i have pointed out to you, this whole thing really does not affect you... Because for the 30 th time your not understanding what i wrote.... It is more than just taking a walk thats being effected.... I have not made any of my posts about rights....I've made them about using a sledge hammer to drive in a finishing nail of a solution.....None of the other provinces that have major fires in their provinces have banned anything provincial wide, MY point is they used common sense something we seem to lack here in NB/ NS.... There are plenty of things provinces can be doing, but to make it look like they are doing something restricting movement is the easiest and cheapest of all solutions...also the most ineffective...

They have plenty of alternatives, plenty of lumber producing nations out there , the real question is how much are they willing to pay....Canadian lumber is cheap because it only travels short distances, American has access to more domestic lumber but they need time to expand that industry.... Canada has been actively looking for new customers for it's lumber but to replace the US orders is a tall order...right now US customers are going to pay much more for their new homes, but Canadian lumber producers are going to have to reduce their output, once Americans find other alternatives... US is always going to be our biggest customer, I personal think that we should be looking at restricting the amount of lumber sold to the US...i mean we have been accused of dumping it on the US market, it will either force the Americans to find other sources, or come back to the table and agree of less tariffs.......Sell our lumber here at home, and other nations....we need to start building homes like everyone talks about....

Here is what they are taking away here in NB. NO activity in the woods at all, no fishing, no walking, no ATVing, no Camping, nothing , all of them NBer's pay for the privilege's to do these things....thats right want to use the NB trail systems you pay 75 bucks for one season pass, ( summer/fall) want all season it cost you over 125-150...(All year)There is no fishing even on the lakes, not that they burst into flames , but according to the Premier they can't go and rescue you if you become lost or injured..."Got nothing to do with fire"....ANY activity in the woods is halted not just walking as you have reduced it to...plus no fishing on any water way... If your not from here your not seeing any infringements, because your and i'm assuming here ....not from here...Most of NB is rural, surrounded by woods...so the ban has effectively shut down most activates here...I have a camp on federal land, i have been banned on going to...No fishing by boat or any form....there are a lot of things other than just walking you can't do.... nearest town is Fredericton some 15 kms away, and not much there for entertainment unless you're into partying or drinking...
