Considered that most of the country was built upon the free market, why would handing overt our health care system to the free market be a bad thing, it is not that the federal/ provincial government has long a history of running things smoothly and efficiently, LOL....I think the majority on this board would agree the feds / provincial governments could not organize a gang bang at a .....house...most of our federal/ provincial departments are fully engulfed in flames, this year alone 6 people have died in NB waiting rooms...waiting for to be seen by a doctor, with patients in beds lined up in the hallways, if that is your idea of good health care your wrong.... It is not some fixes, it is major fixes...

Either or Carney had choices to make and he chose to side with the US....Along with the rest of NATO, one exception is Spain....who refuses to tow the line.... No doubt you would have a major influx of volunteers to join a insurgency of some sort.. most of them with no more skill than hunting each year....And i base my opinion on my experience in Afghanistan where the average fighter had years of hard core fighting and were very experienced at insurgency warfare...But every time we went out, they would start a tic, of some sort...every convoy or patrol would consist of Gun trucks G-wagons, and LAVs, MRAPS not to mention all the grunts if we dismounted....plus over head protection normally a couple of griffons, or armed UAV's, or other coalition Attack helos...that's a lot of fire power for a bunch of red necks armed with hunting rifles...It never ended well with them, and 99 % of the time it ended with us the grunts going into the kill zone to secure intel and take pictures if they could be identified...i say if because 25 mm leaves a huge mess...and it is their custom to bury their dead within 48 hours, so we left them there so their buddies could find them....it kind of takes the fight out of you when you see what can happens when your hit with 25 mm Yes we took some hits as well, through IED's even a few during fire fights....but it only gave us more resolve...and for every one of us they killed we killed dozens upon dozens...they grew up with this type of warfare, and they were as hard as they come, living off the land for long periods of time...able to move or walk unlimited kms, and very adapt at bush craft...any ways Canadians for the most part are none of those things, we have been lucky and not subjected to war and all of its horrors....Look At Ukraine , Russian units are so spread out in small groups of 4 or 5 so not to attract drones...the battle field is constantly under observation...it has changed so much from what i saw and experienced.. it would get nasty very fast....I could not even imagination the average life span of anyone picking up arms and fighting US forces...As for communities supporting insurgents , it is possible...until those were weeded out, we were getting pretty good at identifying these people in Afghanistan, by tracking them over head, through cell phone comms, recce teams...once that group or cell was identified we scoop all of them up in one night hand them over to the ANP, or ANA most would not be seen again...Not that the US would use those tactics, but surveillance has only gotten better since we used it...and if those US forces are taking casualties loose a few comrades in arms and suddenly the Geneva convention does not really hold you to account in some situations... And no you not foolish, as there are lots of Canadians with a warrior sprite...that would be willing to stand up and fight...but a lot of things change once you've been on the battle field for a while...motivation leaves, nothing but pain and suffering remain...I know my son has followed in my foot steps and is an RCR as well, and if anything every happened to him, i, like you would be putting on some of my old gear and looking to join the fight regardless of age.. I'm just not convinced of a happy ending or even keeping our nation intact...Canadians are not the same people as the Afghanis, or Ukrainians, or Vietnamese, they are not hardened by life, just turning of the power could be overt whelming for Canadians...

Is it just US being resistant to change, or now just accepting what ever life decides to change, that there is no boundaries or norms , that today WE as a collective have to accept people who think they are animals, or fire trucks, etc, or use the unlimited pronouns that they themselves have made up, and we are expected to use for their mental health.. Myself i go out of my way not to inter act with people who are having difficulties with mental health issues... ...and then the fact we already for the most part excepting trans people and their mental health issues, but now they want it all meaning the sports portion....but what we have not talked about is once it becomes norm for trans women to play a role in sports where do real women come into play...do they just accept that they will never be in the top candidates in their sports... that sounds a little sexist is it not , we give rights to trans women, but take them away from regular women for the lack of a better term...Why can't they have their own league ? and we could accommodate everyone...even construct new changing rooms...

100% right, but long hair was a fashion statement of the time, this topic we are talking about changing the English language structure, and having someone with mental health issues dictate to the rest of the world on who they are or what they are..... And finally the fact that we think it is OK for men to compete with women in sports, and not see the obvious physical challenges to that....not to mention those that would take advantage of all of that....and why has no one said they would start their own trans league where everyone would have the same p[physical advantages... How many times does Canada have to face severe economic damage, this is not trumps first term, we never learned anything from how China has treated us... Every time we say the same thing we need to diversify our trade...two minutes later it is back to normal still trading with those that have hurt us....begging to do trade with them.....we are a bunch of talkers...nothing more... We do business there because we are cheap and to lazy to trade with anyone else...It's almost like we are stuck with our trading partners...and refuse to fix the issue....like we could if we tried....

What you and the other Canadians conveniently forget is while Russia has suffered lots of casualties ....you forget how many Ukrainian had to die as well....entire generation has been wiped out....Think about that for a moment ....That's the price of freedom....and the price is not guaranteed to giver you freedom..You had Canadians willing to do that and you treated them like Sh!t......and Canadians are not going to pay that...not now not ever....they are way to soft....`Taking on the worlds largest Military is insane idea....just to put that into perspective the Marines have more women than we have total amount of combat troops...but hey the betting pool is a million to one, in the US favor....Put that into the history books Canada beaten by a bunch of women...can i get a WHO RAH.... Why would the US government take a risk and invade when there are plenty of ways to bring Canada to it's knees without invading..... Not the case at all, i took biology class all through high school, only 3 genders were mentioned, male , female and inter sex which was rare.....Today there is an infinite amount of genders , This is were the fantasy comes into play....Our education system has picked up this fantasy and run with it hard...promoting it, convincing children that they should explore their gender which there is no limits...I'm not a medical expert but as far as the medical community is concerned there are the 3 genders....and you can't identify as a dog or cat, or what ever else you may think you are.... They have also bastardized the English language as well hijacked it to further there fantasy....all enforced by todays education system...and government some how....Not based on facts or science but someone fantasy... Everything we were taught in school was based on fact, it had viable sources , there was no false news in the day, if there was no fact it was declared as unproven, something to be ignored until proven...The moon is made of cheese, we know to be false because it has been proven false by science...the earth is not flat as some suggest....even though there are some today that still think so.. the belief in god has faded, and a lot of people have moved on in the western world...I'm going to say in Canada for the most part, hard to prove the bible as fact when it is based on here say...The public may think it knows best but in most cases, they are wrong, the public believed the earth was flat for a long time....and science came along and proved them, wrong....that's what is the missing piece in all this gender theory....science and facts.... Perhaps those half of them do not have daughters....Why is it that grown men who could not compete very well in men's leagues decide to say there are trans and compete in women leagues only to dominate against women.....would you allow your daughter to Box or practice marshal arts with men, what about football, full contact hockey, Rugby....why is there not mix leagues of these sports ?...what about the military why are there no women in Special forces as tier 1 operators?....Maybe the other half are not educated in the physical difference between men and women.... I thought i was stepping carefully, i thought telling my kids there was no such thing as monsters, dragons, etc because they were based on facts that these mythical creatures where products of someone fantasy or imagination, and no amount of education system or ...imagination is going to make them come to life... Like i said want to be howl at the moon, or called a certain name you made up then fine do that in your own space or home, but don't expect the rest of us to play in that fantasy, until you have convinced science and medical staff to be on the same page...I'm like you do you, I really don't care what you do on your time.... and don't drag me into your fantasy.... I don't think i vilified any trans in this conversation, if you not happy in your skin, by all means once you become of age, then change it all, on your dime....what i don't agree with is give children live altering drugs, medical procedures, or the infinite amount of genders, or changing the English language itis one of the hardest languages to learn as it is, no how do you explain they/ them could be a single person or a group of people or some one with mental health issuers.` There has to be boundaries on everything we just can't wake up one day and start changing things 2 +2 now equals 7 becasue social media thinks it is the new fade....the English language has been around forever, and while we add words everyday we don not change the structure of it...

I'm just wonder what happened to all that English schooling we received, how to use yesterdays genders, and then one day we wake up and the next generation has change it all on us....because of some fantasy they decided to makeup and force upon the rest of us....And what is really mind blowing is just how easy it was for the rest of the population to buy into all of it.... How our academic society has bought into all of it, and now it is part of the daily education system...without any facts based on reality or science.... French is one of our official languages...Any Canadian should know enough French to get by...it is taught in most schools...

Why does it matter you ask, because these half baked ideas are contagious to other left leaning groups and will point to these examples as a right of passage to print their own bake ideas.. This is Canada we have two official languages. Inviting more is just a road to confusion...I mean what is next do we offer any and all ethic groups to put up their own language on , street signs...

Or maybe lets stop making things so much more difficult, and stick with something that we all know, like English and French.. I was asking myself that very question, why is it, that all these brainless ideas happen in BC, and to make it worse why are most of the people who live there defending these ideas like they just invented sliced bread...And we wonder why we don't want NDP to run the country.....

Unless you tried to order a cab, pizza, get something delivered...perhaps a comprise is ordered here translate it into English, and have two signs....of course getting a fire or ambulance to your home would be nice...those are things to be concerned with....Here in NB we have lots of indigenous names for places and things all translated into English.. you know one of the official languages in Canada...

Nobody is expecting Canada to act alone....How ever my point is if you only delegate the reserve force to protect the north and only do that once or twice a year, the message i would receive is your really not that serious about your sovereignty...Having Forward operating bases with fighter support, and company size ground forces with the proper gear... would send a message your at least taking it seriously and to take out such a force would defiantly require some thought and effort..."that's a deterrent" having some artic Rangers on skidoos and the reserves twice a year ...is not......Right now Canada pays our artic security lip service...And any small skirmish of ground or air or naval forces would be an act of war.. Then what...what is the nest step, is it wait, until NATO arrives, or engage with larger forces....I will bet as long as the Military is a thing, it will send troops until there is no troops to send.....and if NATO shows up then maybe This has been table topped many times on both sides of the border, none of those exercises come out in Canada's favor...And if Canadians want a crack at playing Rambo, by all means, bring your bolt action rifle with a pocket full of ammo, to a fight where the average soldier is carrying 6 to 10, 30 round mags, and assorted other things grenades, rockets, 40 mm auto launchers grenades, 30 mm auto cannons on LAVS....not counting helos , jets and ships......that scenario does not even play well with any amount of support for someone that has hunting experience...... with all the US assets available to them be it from surveillance at every attitude, to drones , to well armored forces on the ground the average civilian Rambo would be measured in mere seconds...once spotted.... even Canadian military could destroy these forces before they become a major problem and we are missing half the kit.......for future rambos it would be nothing more than escape and evasion....and not many escape or evade...and the US has since come up with sensors that can spot spot a humming bird taking a sh!t at 30,000 feet, that's from land, air and sea...those people that decided to take this route, would have to be constantly moving in deep terrain like mountains...live off the land, not many people can do that...certainly not any Canadian living in our cities... Look im not trying and talk Canadians into doing what ever they want....but they should be prepared to lose a lot of friends...in the process...finding out that war truly does suck is all that road leads to... there is no glory, romance...it's living like an animal, wiping your ass with your t shit until your down to just pants and a shirt.......killing your own food, just finding drinkable water is a huge chore...How many people do you know how to make home made explosives...or how to construct an IED with them....Even trained military personal lack all the skills required to live in the bush for long periods of time... And to top all of that off, you'll be labeled a terrorist group...as you don't were uniforms, don't have a formal chain of command don't fall under the Geneva convention... basically your rights are reduced to zero....you'll be tried for war crimes under a military court....and subjected to US military law....good luck....of course that's only if they capture you...not many drone terrorist are kept they have no value....your most likely killed in some raid or strike.. My advice would be to stay home with your family...because once the occupation starts it will become survival of the fittest....food rationing, forget about having property rights, or ownership of most items that will be restricted...feeding you kids will be your only thing you will have time for... Bin Ladin was a professional terrorist and he hide for years....he had thousands of people supporting him, and he was shot along with his wife in front of his children....then dumped into the ocean think about that for a minute...before you grab that hunting rifle and that one or two box's of ammo...this is how it ends for most ....But hey your wife could have that put on your grave stone "a true Patriot"...if she can afford it...

I think you make a lot of trumps talking points for him....it is one thing to be able to patrol and check upon our security, which we could do with dozens of dog sleds and a drone........but we as a nation must have the equipment to defend as well....One must be able to deter, and have the will to deter if one wants to secure our sovereignty....if the enemy knows you are not wiling to defend they will just take it... Another point is NATO is an organization that does expect each of its partners to have not only the equipment but will to engage in direct actions against an enemy, Meaning Canada must have the means to defend itself not just have the ability to patrol and make sure nobody is on our nations territory...NATO is pleading with Canada to strengthen our northern defenses , so it is not an easy door to kick in... During the cold war shots have been fired, there are historical reports of many engagements on both sides...one recent example is in Syria as Russian Wagner group engaging US spec ops forces, with US forces wiping them out....not to mention of Russian and Chinese ramming other naval ves... Occupation, i think you guys are trying to relive the wolverines movie....People are not like that....Canadians are not like that, maybe one out of ten thousand would be willing to fight...with what exactly captured small arms.. against an army that has armored forces, heliborne , airborne a huge air force....surveillance gear that could find one man in a hay stack from 30,000 feet....and Special ops forces that could track and kill the best there is....Sounds great on paper, get a couple of two fours out to get the boys lubed up and you'll get all kinds of volunteers, they will beating their chests yelling and screaming bring them on........but once the bullets start flying i bet most go home in the first engagement.... PBO office has already released her report on cyber , lets say it is an eye opener....and Canada is very open to attack.
