  1. Milloy's work has been fully debunked. His interpretations are disputed. Who debunked it.
  2. None. His books were fully references though and so was his movie. They are filled with footnotes and a long bibilography. Where are Milloy's references? Actually Milloy is scientific referenced to the hilt. http://themes.eea.europa.eu/IMS/ISpecs/ISp...lic#Methodology Gores movie was full of misleading information and has been fully debunked.
  3. I'd like to be able to vote for the block.
  4. Steve Milloy is not a scientist, does not do research and is a paid activitist. Junkscience would be credible with a list of scientists who affirm its findings. There are none. It's an opinion piece. Looks like he does a pretty good analysis. By the way, what kind of a scientist is Al Gore and what analysis of anything has he done. http://www.junkscience.com/Greenhouse/What_Watt.htm
  5. Here is a good article on climate predicting models. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,225719,00.html
  6. How about the proof of man made global warming. To date there is none. All there is are computer models that don't work. The article is really meaningless. This was written in 1998. So far all we've had is an ever increasing amount of fear mongering. Achieving that consensus meant painting scary scenarios of a hurting, dying planet that frighten children, anger youth, and persuade adults to submit to the unthinkable regulations. (See "Saving the Earth") It means blaming climate change on human activities and ignoring the natural factors that have - throughout time - brought cyclical changes in climate, storm patterns, wildlife migration, and ozone thinning (there has never been a "hole").
  7. They probably go back before that.
  8. What voices?
  9. One step ahead and two back. Only two years ago they raise their sales tax one point. There is no comparison between Newfoundland and Sask. For years Sask. has been the author of their own problems. With their own oil, logging and mining they continued to flounder while at the same time right next door Alberta continued to grow.
  10. Nobody had to use scare tactics against the ndp. They can take credit for being scary all by themselves. Lets not forget they are the ones who also raised the taxes. Saskatchewan was a province who's biggest export was its people and it was only a matter of time that the last one to leave please turn out the light.
  11. I'll bet it does sound good to all the dupes, wanta be Tyrants and socialist one worlders of the cesspool of corruption. It's not much wonder they're after our arms. Achieving that consensus meant painting scary scenarios of a hurting, dying planet that frighten children, anger youth, and persuade adults to submit to the unthinkable regulations. 12. This is the dream of a bunch of social engineers who want to cram everyone into cities and make huge tracks of land off limits to humans.
  13. It was mentioned on fox last night. Looks like all of Europe will be toast. http://www.brusselsjournal.com/node/1609
  14. Maybe in a couple of hundred years they'll do that. What ever that energy might be, wouldn't even be a drop in the bucket as far as jobs go.
  15. Me getting a truck or tons of car ads? I just got a new job that is paying far above a reasonable amount (what was reasonable a year ago anyways) for someone with my level of experience... the economy is doing well my friend, oh so very well. When university students can afford to upgrade to a condo and buy a new car during school, the economy is just flying along. If you think the economy is sagging, move out to Alberta, where everyone has a new car, a new house, massive salaries, even bigger bonuses. Get this... Superstore has a retention bonus for cashiers, saw it on the sign driving home today... Mind you I might be out on my ass in two years with an oil crash... but hey, make hay while the sun shines? But no, the economy isn't sagging in any way. Booming out of control towards a crash? Possibly... though not in the near future. No the news paper ads. I don't have to move to Alberta I live in Alberta. However the patch is quite dead right now. Plenty of cut backs not just Ecana. Things will likely pick up as soon as the frost gets in the ground. Summer projects have seemed to have wound up kinda early this year. http://www.edmontonsun.com/Business/News/2...134382-sun.html EnCana has a total of about 70 rigs running, a 44% drop from last year, and the number of wells the company expects to drill in 2006 is forecast at 3,650, which is 650 less than initially planned.
  16. Just as likely evidence of a sagging economy.
  17. I agree. If Alberta were to accept an equal share of the debt without first deducting what we've already paid through equalization it would be like paying twice. One has to laugh at the argument that is often used by federalists for Alberta staying in the country. That is, if Alberta separates and the oil runs out we wouldn't get any equalization payments from the rest of the country. If that were the case, then why are we paying them now if they have all this money or supposedly will have it. Reality is much different. If Alberta left today that would leave Ontario to pick up the slack of another eleven billion a year. Something they wouldn't do. In fact the whole scheme would explode at the seams.
  18. Respect is something you earn, not something you force on someone or force someone to pay for. The outside sources you suggest, is the taxpayer and it seems they want the booty. Thanks to real women the Harper government has in stead given them just the boot. http://www.realwomenca.com/alerts.htm#aug07_06
  19. Why don't you try Clinton you seem to like the kind that he smokes.
  20. Looks like the only thing that went up were the poll numbers. http://www.angus-reid.com/polls/index.cfm/...em/itemID/13566
  21. Yeah you are like Clinton and would rather wait until the nukes are going off around the country. Which is why the left should never get their hands on the levers of power. http://www.cuttingedge.org/news/n1216.cfm
  22. You mean feminazi's. I don't think they are afraid of them at all. They dealt with them appropriately and cut them off at the wallet.
  23. Rae is insane. Alberta would be gone with in six months if he was ever elected.
  24. I guess the car companies are behind it. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,3-2414175,00.html
  25. Right on!
